Thanks Rachel, it's an interesting place. The hotel is quite lovely, and right next to the beach, and the main promenade. If you follow the promenade, you come to a long, wide street, lined with tourist bars, slightly seedy. However, even at the other side of the hotel, it's a very different story, pot-holed streets, half-built structures, ruined hotels, and shuttered premises.

I have been drinking a Bulgarian whisky called 'Black Ram', which is ok. There is a nice young barman at one of the bars, who speaks some English, and I asked him if he had dark rum and some limes, so I could have a Dark & Stormy. What I got was Bulgarian amaretto, coke, and a slice of lemon!

Dwight I’m almost certain that Modelo is also owned by Anheuser. I’ve switched to XX and Pacifico.No more Corona after these are finished. Anheuser Busch owns Corona and I'm done with them. Looks like it will be Modelo and Dos Equis.
