It's a bit hazy from the smoke coming down from Canada but still a beautiful day. Some of the apple trees are fully blooming.

We have a bit more of a view after a storm blew through here Sunday, lost several trees but no damage to our house.

Well I'm all done with the yard work!!!!

Now my boss (wife) is commanding me to paint the kids bedroom tommorrow. The previous owners painted it dark purple!!!! Of course my wife wants off white lol. Had to splurge for the primer.

The Charlie lamb was with me today and got used often. Now me and the trusty lamb are enjoying a peaceful smoke and watching the sun go down. No beer today. Just some strawberry Dr. P.

Thanks Todd, I was really looking forward to having a pie when I got back, but I haven't had a great appetite, which I think is due to my stomach having shrunk while in Bulgaria (it certainly hasn't shrunk on the OUTSIDE, I'm afraid!), and I even struggled a bit yesterday, despite having a very light lunch

Thanks Steve, and thanks for the info. Now, I recall seeing some brightly coloured trees, while hiking on the edge of Leeds, a couple of years ago. The trees had yellow fruit, which I took to be some sort of cherry, but when I looked them up, they were a type of Crab Apple. Apparently, most folks who grow them here, grow them for their beautiful colours, rather than for the fruit

Thanks a lot Paul, I don't think I missed much in Leeds market, while I was away Harry Hot Balls was there, Special Needs Scott, Barry The Ted, and Golden Gordon has returned to one of the neighbouring stalls

Hope everyone is having a good day The weather has been quite nice here today, and we had plenty of laughs on the tool stall. Tool Man wanted you all to see his sandwich!

He had polished off a couple of corned beef sandwiches first, and followed his Bacon, Spam, fried egg, and mushroom sandwich with several pieces of cake, 2 jam doughnuts, and more than half of my chips and gravy!

I think that is true for here as well although some people make an apple spread out of crab apples.
