We haven't seen enough ebony recently Steve  :)
Boulogne-Sur-Mer looks like a cozy place to hang your hat; too bad it wasn't a good fit for her. I suppose you are happier in your native soil, eh?

I'm doing planning for the next school year today, and I've got my Rhidian lambsfoot with me.

Certainly not the best place I've lived Joshua  Not sure that woman would have been happy anywhere 😒 Your Rhidian is absolutely gorgeous my friend :)
Received my first Albers in a trade and it arrived today with an additional and unexpected generous surprise!! Does anyone recognize it? I didn’t even know these existed. Sweet!

The generosity and kindness of people here is amazing. I’m hoping I can pay it all forward soon. Thank you Adam AnW AnW

We are lucky to have found this special place :) Congratulations Gus
Doesn't sound like a Woman to change her mind. Are you sure you have all the facts correct.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😘
Thankfully, it's more than 30 years ago, and my memory has faded

Happy Friday guardians!!

Jack, the etch is still there it’s just a weird angle on the picture. 🍻🍻

I hope everyone is having a good Friday :) It's been beautiful weather here, and I'm glad I decided to go over to Harrogate today, because the forecast for the weekend isn't very good apparently :( Like a lot of folks, certainly here, I'm still not travelling as much as I did before the pandemic, having kind of got out of the habit, and also having less reason to go places  Harrogate is very easy for me to get to, as there's a very comfortable double-decker bus, which passes the bottom of my street :) It isn't long at all, before you get to the edge of Leeds, and the countryside beyond

Crossing the River Wharfe :)

The bridge here is closing for a month soon, and as this means a lengthy detour, I probably won't be passing this way for a while.

I checked out a large antique centre in swanky Harrogate, before going for a coffee at a local blues bar in the town's 'Montpellier Quarter'.

I had a look round an old-fashioned sweet shop, and went in a couple of book shops, before heading back out of town for lunch at the Harewood Arms.

I took a few more pics from the bus, as it sped along.

It's a couple of months since I was last in the Harewood Arms, which is a Sam Smith's pub and hotel. The last time I was there, the chilli wasn't bad. Wasn't so good today, and not good value either. I paid for a side-order of onion rings, and they brought me chips instead. Didn't they think I had enough carbs?!

Sounds like a nice day, Jack. Great pics!

In my two trips to the UK, I never rode in a double decker bus, but I did spot a few.

I texted Wolfie to see how he was doing. He has his hands even more full than usual, with a busy job, 3 demanding children, and an even more demanding missus, who has just broken her foot! He'd also had to take his car for its annual road safety check. So, not entirely unexpectedly, he didn't have time to meet up, but told me his eldest son, Amos, was busking, with his guitar, about a mile from where I live. I wasn't far away, when Amos rang me to tell me the same, and see if I wanted to meet him for a coffee. I guessed he'd stop playing when he saw me, but managed to get a couple of long-distance snaps! :D I'd had my coffee quota, so we went for a Coke. When I rang his dad later, he said Amos had made £45 in just over an hour. I'm in the wrong job! :D ;)

That’s really cool. Well done, Amos!

Nobber Al snapped this pic of Tool Man nodding off at the market yesterday! 🤣

Thanks, Jack. Women are a little like knives—some are pretty, some are ugly, some stick with you forever, some stick it to you when you aren’t being careful.

Thanks buddy :) The Leeds-Harrogate line is atypical Barrett, apart from the views, they have a really smart fleet, with extra-wide leather seats, wi-fi, phone charging at every seat, a library, and smartly-dressed, polite drivers. The last time they launched a new fleet, they gave out free coffee, breakfast rolls, and newspapers! :D
Brilliant! 🤣
That’s really cool. Well done, Amos!
He's a talented lad, got the lead in their high school musical next year, which is School of Rock :D Here he is, just a few years back :)

Good morning Guardians, welcome to the weekend! :D The weather here isn't great, and the forecast is worse, so unless something better comes along, I think I'm going to stay in, and catch up with some housework :D Hope y'all can find something more exciting to do, and that you have a great day :) Nothing dull about my pockets though, I don't think ;) :D

Well done Jack...two beauties. Did I pick up a Texas drawl in your text?( y'all)🤠
Perhaps with our rain, I will sit back with some headphones on myself.🎶

I'll be asleep but we could possibly tick over 4000 pages tonight/today depending on who calls in. And not far off 80,000 posts.
