That sounds really nice! As a bus driver in a past life, I want to drive one just as much as I want to ride in one. (I do not, however, want to drive one in London.)

Definitely not! That route must be a good one to drive, it's mainly rural, on one long, decent road, going from Leeds to Harrogate, and then on to Ripon. It's pretty beautiful all the way, and almost all of the passengers are travelling between the towns, so most of the route is uninterrupted driving

I know we’ve talked about it before, but I can’t remember if you’ve ever watched Parks & Rec. That’s a good episode, especially the end of it, when Ron makes it to the Lagavulin distillery.

Yes, I got it on DVD, after seeing it mentioned here Barrett. That episode is a classic!

Speaking of Lagavulin, I stopped in a liquor store that I don’t normally shop at earlier today, and was checking their selection and prices. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw what they were asking for Lagavulin 16!

Good grief! I can remember when the 16 was my daily tipple!

Nice, Jack. That one in my pic has lived there in the console of my truck (next to the toothpicks) for years.

It's nice to see that a few of the folks who posted in those early pages are still around, but I don't think any of us thought we'd make it THIS far! Well done everyone, 4000 pages of Lambsfoot goodness, and great conversation, and it's fantastic to see the thread going as strong as ever The Lambsfoot pattern, which was almost (or entirely) unknown to most posters, even here in Traditionals, back in 2016, is now enjoying an international renaissance We're making history Guardians

Here's a few milestones

I've done giveaways for all our milestones, and this one will be no exception. I'll post a thread later today, with another giveaway, exclusive to the Guardians, for Yorkshire Day, on August 1st

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm struggling with my back again, I'm afraid, it hasn't been right since I went in for an examination a month ago I won't be going far today. Wishing you all a great Sunday Guardians I'm going to carry my 2017 Guardians SFO, for old time's sake

Thanks mate, hoping it'll be OK in a day or two. I was doing quite well with my back until I went for an examination, about a month ago. I left in pain, and have been in pain ever since. I won't be going to see the quack again

I've been walking by this Lousville Slugger mug for years. Yesterday it was next to a Chinese ceramic Detroit Tigers mug that made its cobalt blue made-in-USA-ness really stand out.
