Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I hope everyone is enjoying this special day :) I'm absolutely exhausted! :D I got a text from my pal Matt, asking if I wanted to go to a local festival this afternoon. My back was hurting, but I thought a walk might free it up a bit, so I got a shave, and walked down to his house, via Charlie's cafe ;) The festival, a bit of a hippy affair as it turned out, or so me and Matt thought, was a couple of miles away, in the middle of some woods, where once there were neat Victorian gardens.

There weren't too many people when we got there, but eventually there were several hundred, with a lot of kids. Some of the music was pretty dreadful, but they had beer. Standing up for around 3 hours was pretty tiring though 🥱

We crossed back to the other side of the valley, by a circuitous route, and stopped to have some slingshot fun for half an hour, before going to a local brewery tap, for another pint, and a bite to eat. Unfortunately, the weather suddenly turned, and it began to rain. Matt, and his missus, and kids, escaped the worst of it, but by the time I got home I was drenched! :eek: I think I'll sleep tonght! :thumbsup:

Sorry to hear your adventure went awry Jack. I hope you have a restful night and have no dark clouds following you this week.👍🏻

Good morning Guardians, and congratulations on reaching 4000 pages! 🎉 Pretty incredible! :cool: It's nice to see that a few of the folks who posted in those early pages are still around, but I don't think any of us thought we'd make it THIS far! 😊 Well done everyone, 4000 pages of Lambsfoot goodness, and great conversation, and it's fantastic to see the thread going as strong as ever :) The Lambsfoot pattern, which was almost (or entirely) unknown to most posters, even here in Traditionals, back in 2016, is now enjoying an international renaissance :cool: We're making history Guardians :) :thumbsup:

Here's a few milestones ;)

I've done giveaways for all our milestones, and this one will be no exception. I'll post a thread later today, with another giveaway, exclusive to the Guardians, for Yorkshire Day, on August 1st :thumbsup:

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm struggling with my back again, I'm afraid, it hasn't been right since I went in for an examination a month ago 🤨 I won't be going far today. Wishing you all a great Sunday Guardians :) I'm going to carry my 2017 Guardians SFO, for old time's sake ;) :thumbsup:

Oh my! 😎😍:thumbsup:

Brian Fixall Fixall sent me an incredible selection of tasty treats in the generous parcel I received from him the other day :) I'm trying hard to eat them sparingly! :D :thumbsup:

Good luck, Jack! Those things aren't allowed near my computer desk. 😂

I started sending candy with the orders on my website recently... That may have been a mistake.

Well, at least I was entertained by the story and the photos! And I didn’t even have to listen to any bad music 😂…but I didn’t get the pleasure of good company and good drinks 😁.

Congrats to a day with a wonderful milestone! 4k & 80k! 🎉

Have a great Sunday folks :) :thumbsup:

Beautiful collection of grand ole lambs.

Great Flock of Lambs Rob . I am biased so that my eyes go to the TEW every time .

🤣🤣

Sounds ideal and idyllic. 🙂

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

While prices have gone up everywhere, I don’t know what they’re smoking at that particular place. There’s a store just a couple minutes drive from there that has it for $84.99.

🙂:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Congrats again, Jack! Thanks for all you’ve done for the Lambsfoot

I'm always amazed at the amount of Lambsfoot modern classics that have bee created in less than a decade; the vast majority piloted by you! :cool: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Many thanks Bob, there are worse things than getting wet at this time of year, and I just threw my duds in the washing-machine, and jumped into a hot bath :D I was absolutely beat by 9pm though, and took some painkillers, and hit the hay 😴😊:thumbsup:
Congratulations Jack on the milestone today! Glad you got out and about for a time. I’ve done my chores for the weekend and I’m going to have some suds. Hope everyone gets off to a good start this week. 👍👍

I can understand why Brian, they're very moreish! :D Nice idea with the candy, it's tastier than bubble-wrap! 😂 That's a lovely Albers, really looks great against that background :cool: :) :thumbsup:

Thanks Jon :) There was a young guy singing, and playing the guitar, and he was absolutely terrible! :eek: I thought he'd just sing a couple of songs, but he went on and on, until one of his guitar strings broke! He announced this, saying that he hoped he'd be able to get a replacement, and continue. Me and my mate crossed our fingers at exactly the same time! 🤣:thumbsup:
