Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I didn't know about the toxicity
The damage they can do to your liver is frightening. I love Walnuts, but only buy them fresh in small amounts, a lot more expensive, but they go rancid so quickly. It is the reason all those cold pressed oils, olive, avocado, walnut etc. all come in dark glass bottles, to stop the light from making them go rancid. All those cheap vegetable oils come in cheap clear plastic bottles and never go off. o_Oo_Oo_O:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Blimey, I never realised mate, I don't eat walnuts very often, and I'd forgotten about that packet. I'll see if I've got anymore in the cupboard and bin them!

Good evening guardians had a pretty good fish and chips for the birthday dinner. Not sure how they normally serve them but these tasted amazing. Had the Bob-Lamb with me. View attachment 2334510
I also spent some time finishing the lamb shank I hope everyone has a great evening/ morning. View attachment 2334511View attachment 2334512
Great progress Daniel. I like the handle/ blade ratio.👌
Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is doing alright, and that your week got off to a good start. I'm just waiting for an electrician to come round to do some sort of mandatory electrical inspection, not sure what it involves. I got a 8.00am-1.00pm slot, but then, when I checked my phone at 7.15am, he was supposedly on his way. On his way from where I don't know, as it's after 8am now  Have a good day Guardians

Good morning Guardians. Off to play 18 today. When I get back I'll have my trusty Hartshead Barlow with me.

A stellar choice  :)

Seriously bin them. They will be so rancid they will be toxic. ☠️☠️☠️
Or try them on Toolman.

Dan got back to me. He tells me they don't go off that quick & if you keep them in airtight container they will last for ages, which he has told me previously.
Didn't know about the toxicity said he's no doctor but if that was the case he should be dead.
Dan reckons the most beneficial way to eat walnuts is to activate them, low roasted in oven for an hour.
If you have them in a good container Jack you should be right.

at this time no I did a light buff on them and want to see how they wear over the next year while I’m TDY in Europe.
Do you realize there are people out there who would not know what a transistor radio is. ;) . Their idea of a Trannie is completely different.🤣🤣🤣

Looks good. Will you polish the covers, or leave them ???

Mouth watering Jack.
That cake was delicious, but it was one heck of a big piece - you wouldn't get a muffin for £2.90 in the Hipster places in the city centre
Hope the inspection went well.
It did thanks Bob, and the electrician was a nice guy too :)

Thanks to you and Dan for that info Mitch. I always keep them in an airtight container, and the ones I discovered are sealed in a pack. That's really interesting about the activation. Thanks to everyone for the advice :)
I want cake now 🤩
LOL! :D Sorry Daniel, that piece of cake was as wide as it was tall, we could have split it into four! :D
2-1
The Bucs are “on the lamb” today. Touch night, no longer undefeated. 🤣View attachment 2334780
LOL! :D Sorry to hear that Todd, but you got a good joke out of it my friend :D Cool pic

My street is absolutely covered in conkers at this time of year. Good for the squirrels, but not so good for me :D Why couldn't the Victorians have planted SWEET Chestnut tress?!
