My internet connection is still limping, but I'm hoping I can upload a few pics now

Here's the Ridgeside Brewery Tap, pretty small, but they're friendly, and brew great beer!

After a few hours there, we left the girls, and walked a mile up the Meanwood Beck to where Cillian wanted to take some photos

He wanted some of his preying mantis too!

We walked back to a much bigger brewery, near Ridgeside, North/Springwell, where we were surprised to find they had had a beer festival on. We had some food, and a £20's worth of beer, which wasn't very much at all Good day out though

Carrying Gidget today


We got some much needed rain over the weekend and it might rain again later today. The leaves are dropping early due to the trees being under stress from our drought. Hopefully we'll get some good colors this year.

It's hard to keep up with all y'all! Spotty reception for a couple days and I'm way behind.

I'm still ooogling over Bob's spalted maple lamb and that was 5 pages ago!

I have no interesting lamb pics today but it's here, safe, sound and heavily discolored from cutting onions and garlic over the weekend. It usually goes back to the normal greyish color after a good scrub and some time.

Some lambs are in the fast lane.

I think that one came out of the depths of Mt. Doom like a bat out of hell, judging by those covers.

I need to find some pieces of this wood! It's unreal. Like staring into a rolling fire.
