Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Yes, beyond belief!

A year or two of community service work .... planting trees and cleaning up storm damage .... might be a just punishment for that lad. 🤬

They've now made a second arrest
Somehow I missed this earlier. What a travesty. Try that guy as an adult.

cant believe anyone would cut down that tree. A little frointer justice might be in order.

Thank you very much Jeff, beautiful pic there my friend :)
Sorry you wont be able to make it. Hopefully next year. 🤠
Thanks Steve, maybe they'll give me a discount ;)
Yes he has!

Cool pic of your Ablers. I cant believe anyone would cut down that tree. A little frointer justice might be in order. 😁
Thanks again buddy :) That is a low-population, hill-farming area, where some of the folks rely on the income from renting out properties to tourists, and otherwise catering to them. That much-loved old tree was a part of that, and a part of their lives. I reckon the idiot or idiots responsible are going to have to leave the country
I haven't been posting much lately, primarily lurking. But today I have this out.

It's good to see you here old friend, I hope you're keeping OK :)

Glad Jack's on the mend, the map is growing, Leon is eating well and No one is moving to Antarctica.

Words cannot describe the ignorance of the person that destroyed that tree!!

Hope all are enjoying their weekend.

My waboom does not make any noise like Jack's!!!20230929_180217.jpg

Good idea David

cudgee cudgee your Sunday meal looks delicious. I've never had pumpkin like that. I love everything we make with pumpkin including breads and cookies and pies, but never had it steamed as a side!

Since it is Nat's birthday (the better half) I went down to the strip district this morning and got lots of goodies for our dinner. Nice fish for her and I, beef for the others who don't like fish (imagine?!?!) Some beautiful snap peas and a really nice pumpkin!

I am very much looking forward to trying the pumpkin, thanks for the idea cudgee.

Here are a couple photos of the quick trip dahntahn.

Sitting at a light this looked like a nice photo op. The point fountain still running.

St. Stanislaus prominently stands at an intersection and is a beautiful sight. Sunday morning mass was letting out as I came by.

If you look at the top of the bell towers they look a bit small right? Well, the original ones were blown off of the church from a gas explosion across the street at the banana company. (Many many years ago)

This is the latest iteration of the same building. It was an auction house after the banana company.... no idea what it is now. They turned the whole block into yuppie stores.

Fun morning for sure, and we are looking forward to Natalie's birthday dinner and to try some pumpkin! I might steam half and roast half just to try it.

Have a great day everyone!

I hope your meal is a success and have a grand evening celebrating.🥂

Thanks kindly Jack.
Wooden Waboom Wednesday has a nice ring to it.

Did toolman survive market day without your support Jack?
I might give him a ring tomorrow, as I've not heard from him, Bob  He can only really concentrate on one thing at a time. I reckon if I got a monkey trap, put a Spam sandwich in it, and chained the trap to one of the market stalls, he'd be stuck there forever 🤔🤣
