I been wondering how that seller ended up with so many Lambs. I've bought several of them.Really interesting Lambsfoot with a lot of unique features!
I think that was Harvey’s. I noticed another unique knife he owned (a GEC #15 Navy Knife that had been modified into a Lambsfoot) for sale on eBay last week, from a seller in Illinois (where Harvey lived) with an eBay username having something to do with estate sales.
I just went back and looked and it appears David’s unique new Lambsfoot was sold by the same seller. Glad that one ended up with a Guardian at least.Makes me sad to think what might become of some of the other knives Harvey cherished so much, but I suppose that’s what happens sometimes when you’re gone.

Sweet Albers!I’ve got my Katalox Albers back in my pocket to start the week (not a new pic).

Interesting examples KurtI got this Ashwin Earl in burl. The reddish dye didn’t take on some of the burl. And it’s almost magenta in areas. I’m glad there’s quite a few differences between the two I have. Nice additions to the flock. I look forward to seeing the builds you guys have on order.

Tool Man meets up with a couple of his old pals every Tuesday night. He calls it the Swimming Club, but they haven't been swimming since about 1973!)

Thanks, now stay out of the swamps Paul.WOW. You have captured that lamb perfectly.
Looking good Dave
LOL!Jack, sadly, I'm old enough to remember those TV beer ads in black and white.
Looks like your gearing up for a nice and warm get away.
I've always liked the graceful handle curve on swayback Lambfoot models.

Nice.A crazy morning. Have some college students on base doing forestry and environmental surveys. About 7am they called and said that there were 3 possible unexploded ordnance locations. Drove all over looking for them and eventually found them. 2 were old C ration cans left from God knows when and one was the fins from an old concrete mortar round sticking out of the ground. Better to be safe than sorry I suppose. It’s good to dust off the old land navigation skills from time to time. Nothing else interesting planned for the day. ‘19 is my EOD inspector companion for the day.

Thanks good friend.Sad Bob,
Not unusual, here a lot of restaurants close Monday or Tuesday for a day off.
Thursday lunch?
Nice knife mate.
The lamb loves cutting leather!

Yeah, a few restaurants and cafes have started closing on Mondays here, the past few years, too. Only a minority mindSad Bob,
