Modern interpretation of the Lambsfoot - what Steel is that one my friend?

Duncan, even the steel is modern: 14C28N, among the toughest of all stainless steels it allows a very thin, slicey edge, a great cutter!

She was a little shy at first, hiding in a tree, but came out into the sunshine soon after.
She helped me prepare dinner last night, cutting peppers and Brussels sprouts, so the blade is no longer pristine. And that’s ok, now I don’t have to fret about it anymore!

Whats it like to sharpen?

So far I haven't let it get dull. Every so often I strop it so it stays hair whittling sharp. It came with a beautiful edge bevel and I've tried to preserve it.
This pic shows how beautifully even the bevel is.
