Thank you Jeremy, highlight of my day was the foot long hot dog, with onions, cheese, bacon and barbecue sauce, I had for lunch! It came with a mountain of fries, and coleslaw, but I didn't make much of an inroad into those! Sweet Albers there my friend

Ever since I got the Albers ironwood last year it has been in my pocket. I’d been curious about the infamous pull of the Sheffield lambs, so I got one. I can barely get it open I like it but the Albers is definitely on a different level and hence a daily carry for me.

Welcome to the Guardians Unfortunately, the pulls on the Lambs from that Sheffield manufacturer seem to vary from very stiff to unmanageable. You may be able to ease it up a little though. Check out the partial Thread Index linked to in post #1 for advice

Hello Guardians !!!! Got a lot of catching up to do. Rushing to get the crew ready to meet up with the folks for dinner.

Funny story……I casually strolled to the mailbox to grab some long awaited packages and boooooom. Slipped on some ice and I swear my feet were over my head . Got up real quick embarrassed as hell. Thank god I live in the sticks……or so I thought. The nice old lady that lives a ways down the street called and made sure I was ok . She saw everything!!!!!! My wife is still laughing.

Double lamb day!!!! Although I forgot to put the horn lamb in the picture. Tray was a very generous gift from Jeremy.

Welcome to the Guardians, buddy . I personally like the strong pull on the Sheffield lambs. A little hit with a diamond needle file with a little oil and compressed air and you should be able to lighten it.

That is one of my favorites, Charlie. I try to carry it at least once a week. Stiff pull indeed. Just the way I like it .

Two of my favorite A. Wright lambs. Purportedly made by Ashly Harrison. The fit and finish seems a bit nicer than the other ones I’ve gotten. While the pulls are stout 6-7 they are not nail breakers.
