Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good Tuesday to you Guardians. We have a break in the rain here. It’s nice to sit outside. Have my K’roo this morning. Later this afternoon I am having a tooth attended to. I broke a piece of it off on Saturday. No pain except it is sharp as a knife where a piece broke off. My tongue is not happy. My dentist is great though. I expect a coronation. 👑 At the dentist I put up a brave front. But in my mind I’m like one of those videos of a french bulldog screaming as it sees the toenail clippers coming towards it.

" Kudos " to you and your lamb Kurt.👌
Good luck with the crown.

Glad to hear you're OK pal :) Cool pic there, that's a very kind gift from Jeremy :)
Thank you, Jack. It was a very welcomed surprise.
Possibly from the same bunch of SFOs as this one?
Micarta is starting to grow on me. Did not care for it at first but starting to really like it now.
Thanks Paul, I fell asleep for an hour around 6pm, went to sleep about 11.30pm, then woke up at 2.45am, and struggled to sleep all night :(
🙁 I go through bouts of not sleeping well due to a chronic back injury sometimes. During flair ups I have to sleep in a recliner as that is the only position my back can be in to get any sleep. I wish you a restful night tonight.
Good morning Guardians, the weather is pretty rotten here, wind and heavy rain, and we have another storm due  Feeling groggy after another bad night's sleep, so I reckon I need some Waboom! ;) Have a good day everyone
Rotten luck on the weather, Jack. Waboom is a stunner.
or drinking any coffee today
😱😱 the horror!!!
I hope everyone is thawing out.View attachment 2467603

Always like seeing your Charlie lamb, Todd.

Fine lambs gentleman. 😎👍
Thanks Todd. Always love seeing that modded Charlie lamb.

Thanks for doing your part for Kroo Tuesday, Kurt. Hope your trip to the dentist will be help.

Thanks, Steve, Dwight, Rufus, echoscout, cudgee, and Jack for the nice comments on the old Oates.
Here is a recent purchase of an M. May which seems quite decent. It's resting nicely on a stout indoor plant. :)

Very nice burl on your May lamb.👌
Good morning Guardians

It's a dull and cloudy day here but at least it's relatively warm 👍

Carrying my I*XL '23 KOTY today which I think I'm going to name "Slick"

Nice Steve...you chose well for KOTY.👍🏻

I stupidly sold one then regretted it and have struggled to get one back, but today I'm once again a guardian of the lambsfoot 😁

Beautiful knife!

Totally mate, I always think I only like moderately spicy condiments, but based on recent experience, I'm beginning to wonder! I do remember, when I was younger, 'acclimatising' pretty quickly, so maybe that has started to happen again 😁👍

Wow Barrett, what an amazing group shot! 😱😎👍

I also think my taste for spicy stuff is fairly moderate. I like a bit of heat, but I don’t want to feel like my tongue's going to fall off. 😁

Thanks, Jack!

Just watching the game. Thought this was funny. Wife took a picture of me taking a picture🤣🤣🤣. Giraffe lamb was buy some delicious food!!!! I told her that is the BF life.

Looks delicious!

Snakewood & Wally.
I really like this knife, the only flaw it could of had more pronounced nail nick but it's liveable.

Great pic! 🦆😁

After having nearly a week of below 0 temperatures, this coming week of slightly above freezing temps will feel like Hawaii around here. :)
Had a good Mexican lunch today to get into the warming spirit...

Saw a forecasted temp of 50 one day next week! 😲 Lovely vintage Lambsfoot there.

Guess what was for dinner?
View attachment 2466348

Bet those would go great with the potatoes you posted the other day! 😋

Hope you're going to get your Hawaii shirt out to celebrate! :D

That seems about as likely as you wearing shorts. Not impossible, just highly unlikely. 😉🤣

Ever since I got the Albers ironwood last year it has been in my pocket. I’d been curious about the infamous pull of the Sheffield lambs, so I got one. I can barely get it open😁 I like it but the Albers is definitely on a different level and hence a daily carry for me.

I really like the Micarta. As others have said, the strong pull is pretty common on those.

Snow is GONE!! Warmer weather, and I am sitting and oiling and checking Safe Queens!!
Here's one of my Faves - re-used older picture!!View attachment 2466938
Hard pull - a little too hard!!

Beautiful ‘19 Guardians Lamb, Charlie!:thumbsup:

Funny story……I casually strolled to the mailbox to grab some long awaited packages and boooooom. Slipped on some ice and I swear my feet were over my head 😂😂😂😂. Got up real quick embarrassed as hell. Thank god I live in the sticks……or so I thought. The nice old lady that lives a ways down the street called and made sure I was ok 🤣. She saw everything!!!!!! My wife is still laughing.

Double lamb day!!!! Although I forgot to put the horn lamb in the picture. Tray was a very generous gift from Jeremy.

Glad you didn’t get hurt, Paul! Kind of your neighbor to call and check on you.

I’ve been there. Several years ago, we were driving from Arkansas back to Arizona (after Christmas I think). We took a longer route to try and avoid some nasty winter weather along I-40, drove down through Texas and the southern part of New Mexico instead. Well we hit the winter weather anyways. It was snowing when we drove through El Paso, and the roads went from slushy in TX to icy in NM. We pulled over on the side of the highway to switch drivers, I opened the door and went to step out, slipped on the icy road and went down like a ton of bricks. Julie said it was like I just disappeared.

To add insult to injury, not long after that, we got stopped because of a jackknifed semi, then after they got that cleared up, we were told the highway was closed until they could get the roads cleared/salted. Had to sit there for 3 or 4 hours on the interstate and just wait.

Waiting for the interstate to open back up in the-middle-of-nowhere New Mexico.

Winter has, overall, been pretty mild here in Minnesota this year, but… is it summer time again yet? 😁
