Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Today is foggy and drizzly, so I am performing a little sharpening and maintenance on the Charlie Lamb today. Very relaxing and therapeutic! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Nice pic Ken ๐Ÿ‘

Absolute Knockouts shown by Jeff, Bob, Steve and David - beautiful Lambsfoot's guys- awesome viewing!

Thanks mate !

Bob- wow, Lambsfoot by Cosimo - stunning.

Isn't it amazing seeing the Lambsfoot coming out now, nit only for the first time in Production in The United States of America, but all over the World now, Jack I am 100% sure that this is from your influence and I doubt anyone would argue that, the amount of work that you have done not only within the Sheffield Knife World, but specifically the Lambsfoot pattern has been totally revived because of you.

That's amazing, it really is, Thank you my friend.

Hope you are feeling better too by the way !

Here here, three cheers for Jack !

Great photo Steve, and beautiful Lamb!๐Ÿ˜

Thanks buddy !

Another new Lamb joined my flock. This one came all the way from Italy and I only found out about it because of a heads up from Paul. Thanks again buddy ๐Ÿ‘

Like new I*XL Jigged bone Large 2 blade Lamb

Awesome fit and finish and perfect walk and talk. The blades are really thin behind the edge. It only took a couple of swipes on a steel to bring the edge to razor sharp.

Looks like it could've been an inked lamb Steve! Beautiful jigging too! There seems to be no end to the fantastic old IXL's!

Well said Duncan. Jack's support and care of this thread is commendable.

Thank you for the kind words my friends :) As we know, the Lambsfoot is a wonderful pattern, and its great to see it finally getting attention throughout the world, quite incredible really :) It was always a popular pattern in Britain, in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, where the big Sheffield cutlery firms sent their wares. Once you've used a Lambsfoot, there's no going back ;)

That's incredible Steve :) Those old cutlers sure knew how to make a knife, and grind a blade. The jigging reminds me of the pattern on my old Unity (below)

Unfortunately, a side-effect of the pattern's increased popularity, are growing scarcity, and inflated prices :(

Hope you're warmly tucked-in Dwight :) Great pic
He's a good worker Mitch :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope that everyone had a lovely weekend, and that our ailing Guardians are on the mend :) I'm coughing more today, and as it is raining heavily outside, I won't be going anywhere. Thought I'd carry this old TEW, which is always a good cutter :) Have a good start to the week Guardians

Thanks Jack ! Your comment on the jigging got me wondering, was there a company in Sheffield, like Rogers in the US that supplied jigged bone to the various cutlery firms ?
