Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

That breaks my heart, especially the children who have never seen a dentist.
Terrible isn't it? A 90 year old woman lay on an icy pavement for four hours, the other day, waiting for an ambulance. She was alone, but had one of those emergency bleepers. Amazing she didn't die of hypothermia :( Another lady in her nineties waited FORTY hours, with a broken hip! o_O
Very elegant Jack. 😎👍
Thanks buddy :)
Jack get and upgrade.
Retro snd practical at the same time🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
LOL! :D
Morning all Snakewood

You seem to have an endless supply Mitch! :D
Thanks fellows. :) I'm way behind.
Good to see you here Dwight :)

I was gonna ask you if you were joking but then I read the news clips you posted. What a sad commentary on the neo-socialist fools in charge. :(
You couldn't make it up, could you Dwight?! I think the current lot prefer to be called neo-cons, but it seems to make no difference 😕
Beautiful photo my friend :)
As Steve and Barrett can testify to, summer continues to be our winter theme in Minnesota. :)
Last year at the Janesville knife show, Barrett and I arrived on a beautiful sunny day, and left the next day in a snow storm. :)
We will see what this next month brings for our trip. I look forward to seeing the regulars including Todd, Paul, and Harry, and hope to meet some new Guardians there.

Sounds like you've had a year off this year! :D Hope that's the case :) Hope you all have a great time at the show buddy :) Nice to see your Hartshead Barlow
Was this a special knife for the guardians then?
Yes, one of Jack's SFO's from 2019
We had a Guardians knife in 2017, 2018, and 2019 Frank

Thanks Jack, your Charlie lamb always impresses.
Thank you Jeremy :)
Good evening Guardians. Been a long day - won't bore you all with the details. All I can say is that I'm glad it's over and I'm headed for bed time. My HHB was a bright spot.:thumbsup:View attachment 2487245
Sorry to hear you had a rotten day Bill :( I hope tomorrow brings a better one

Lots of packaging, and slow garbage collection.

The lambs do appreciate some TLC every so often.😉

We are finally having spring like weather!!
Size and design differences of three current craftsmen. Will carry the Ashwin.20240207_152510.jpg

What is sad in our country Jack, are the number of people who go hungry. When I taught in a inner city school, it was the only place many children received healthy meals.☹️

Sending you good vibes for today Jack.

I have had a fair bit myself this past week Mitch. I am lucky with the bins though, mine get collected every week, while for most folks it's only every fortnight, and in some cases once a month

They do :)

It's a terrible thing, the number of folks, particularly children, who go hungry, even our supposedly wealthy societies :( Thank you my friend, I hope you have a good day :) It has snowed here, but mostly, it has rained, so I reckon I'm better off not being down at the market ;)

Thanks Jack, appreciate the kind words.

Good morning Guardians. Hoping for a good day on the links today. Starting out cold but warming to the mid 50's as the day goes on.

Hope you have a great day Bob :) The weather is pretty rotten here, so looks like I picked a good day to dodge the market ;)

Good morning Guardians, it's supposed to snow here today, but no sign of it yet  If it does snow, I can hopefully spot my 2018 Guardians Lambsfoot, in ebony, if I happen to drop it ;) Have a good day everyone

Sad state of affairs there Jack, sorry to hear it. Your ebony lamb is very nice.

Not much has changed in that regard unfortunately Bob. Three great lambs lined up that picture.

Thanks Jack, I hope the weekend brings fair weather for you; for me, it brings my wife back from her travels.😁 Silence was golden.

Beautiful handles on those three and neat to see that group together.

The day, H herder posted an IXL Lamb, with synthetic 'imitation stag' covers. I came across this one, which has some other 'synthetic stag' covers. It wasn't with my other Lambs, as it makes my eyes hurt! In fact I'd forgotten all about it!

Interesting example Jack. Back in the day, Boker had some synthetic handle material which was hard to tell from real jigged bone.
Sadly, that's not the case with some other manufacturers including by such greats as Rodgers and Wostenholm in later years.

LOL! :D Thank you very much my friend :D I'm sure your wife will have some interesting tales, hopefully not TOO interesting! ;) :D

I'm sure there's been no mischief going on :D

You have to wonder what on earth they were thinking with some of that stuff! I guess they might not have known that it'd shrink, and wear badly, sometimes, but it looks pretty awful. Mind you, after the Sambar ban bit, I thought the same about the jigged camel bone Trevor Ablett started using, it looked terrible, far better to have left it alone! As you know, since WW2, in Sheffield, and in many cases earlier, cost has always been the main deciding factor

Hope all is well now John.
We experienced the same thing last month.
Sorry to hear that John, ho damage to Chateau DF I hope
Hi John, great to see you amigo. I hope you haven’t had any property damage.
Thanks for the well-wishes, Gentlemen. :)
Luckily, there was very little damage. We lost a few limbs off trees and had a section of fence blow over.
Nice to see another '18 popping up here. 🤠
