Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I think many of us know THAT feeling! 🤣

Absolutely mate, still got 3 weeks to go here, but at least the toothache has stopped, for now at least :D

Great pic Steve  :)

Very sorry to hear that Pete, my condolences :(

It's an odd one David, I can't find out anything about it. The only thing that comes up is the seller's repeated listings, and absolutely nothing else :( Even as a place name, Bretton is obscure, and does not seem to have developed as a surname

LOL! :D Let me know what you think Mitch! :D I sure hope they are the old English recipe Poms will remember from their childhoods, and not the watery stuff they're selling, (and increasingly NOT selling), today

I'm sure I must have had a hash brown on a butty at some time Tyson! :D I hope you enjoyed them :) Cool pic, and it's nice to see the lived-in look of your Hartshead Barlow :) I sure wish I could get more of those

Eric is a really nice chap, I think :)

Great way to spend an evening buddy :) Ace pic of your TEW :)

Good morning Guardians, I'm not sure what on Earth is going on, here in Yorkshire, but it isn't actually raining! Unfortunately, I have stuff I need to do indoors, but hopefully, I can find an excuse to get out for a coffee, later ;) I realised I haven't had a Double Lambsfoot Day for a while, so... :D Have a good day Guardians

Yep. The one thing still needed for the Lambsfoot Revival to be complete is a reliable source of quality lambs. We can get vintage ones; several custom makers are turning out some beauties; Albers and GEC and Daniel's Family brands make very limited production runs; and A. Wright is a bit of a gamble. It's now a much-better known pattern (at least in the US) than ever before, but it's essentially a collectors knife, not an average Joe working man's knife.

I wish I could just go to any of several online knife retailers and find a reasonably priced and well-made working lamb at any time. I think we need to petition Case into adding a proper lambsfoot to their lineup.
