Heard from Jack. He is said he was ok. Just in a position where he cannot log on for a little bit. We can recall Seal Team 6 and the British SAS.

Hope everyone has has had a good week. Mine has been a whirlwind but with a tremendous upside. Went down to Texas for a work trip this week and got a chance to get together for dinner with Angry Waiter . I am very grateful that Pete was willing and able to drive to meet halfway between where I was and his house. It was like getting together with a good friend, a good friend that brought a bunch of awesome knives to talk about. As an added bonus the food (shrimp and grits) was phenomenal and they served some great beers! A fellow Guardian told me pics or it didn’t happen, so...

No Neal you haven't missed anything. I haven't had that Lamb very long. Certainly is a unique tang stamp. I'm wondering if it's a German made blade or knife? Maybe Jack can shed some light on it.

I'm fairly certain that this complete knife was made in Germany for export to England in the mid-1900s, and probably the case with Jack's wood handled "Foreign" model.
I have yet to find any paperwork showing a specific German-made Lambfoot model, but it certainly seems like they did exist.

Jeremy that was such a fun time and a cool adventure. It was the best time I have had in quite a while - good friend, cold beer, some grits and a grand discussion on knives. Perfect. Thanks for agreeing to drive down!
