Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

That sounds good Barrett 😋 Though I need to avoid such things, and get my cholesterol down! 😖

Do yourself a favor and don’t Google “healthy chip butty.” Some of the images are horrifying! 😲🤣

I have done that a few times myself! :D

There are certainly worse things than a double Lambsfoot day! 😁

No, I have never completed one. View attachment 2513277

When Eleanor started kindergarten a couple years ago, I decided to learn (it was something to do while waiting in the afternoon pickup line). The first time I solved it, following instructions online, it took me about 45 minutes. After a week of practicing maybe an hour or two a day, I could do it without having to look at my notes. At that point it would take me between 5 and 10 minutes to solve (depending on whether I messed up somewhere along the way). Now I’m down to an average of around 50 seconds. To get any faster I’d have to learn an entirely different and more complicated method, and I’m not in a rush to do that. 😁

Congrats Barrett. I lack the patience of even using the directed solution.
Now, a nice lamb like yours👍🏻, I can understand.😃

Looking good Ken :)
Morning all.
Had coffee, or chocolate indulgence 😉 yesterday afternoon, earned it spent most the day reorganising the garage🙄 the daughter 's boyfriend is moving to another apartment and it already has a fridge, so we said we would store his.
Haven't done today's pictures only 6.45am.

Love that pic Mitch, hope you have a great day :)

Nice old Horn
Thanks pal.
"You were lucky! We used to dream of living in corridor!"

Edit: Quote from The Four Yorkshiremen, with which Jack is familiar.
You didn't need the "edit". I immediately recognized it! I love that skit! 😃🤣🥲
Once, when having internet service installed, the installer told me he couldn't go under my house. I, naturally, asked why. He replied that it was because he was too fat and that they made the openings too small in the 1940s due to the fact that, according to him, "people were smaller then." 🤦 I asked if there was someone else they could send. He said, "I don't know how much good it will do, everyone I work with is as fat as me." I shit you not.

I ended up crawling under the house, with a bum knee, and drilling the necessary holes up through the floor myself. The installer chilled out in the air conditioning and grabbed the wires once I poked them up through the holes I'd drilled. He wouldn't even let me use his drill, citing "liability," so I had to use my own - a crappy, corded Black& Decker, left behind by my grandfather (not a skilled handyman!!) that drilled holes about as straight as Freddie Mercury's romantic entanglements.

After he left, I called the company and told them I didn't think I should have to pay the installation fee for work I did myself. The lady said she'd take $15 off the bill. I told her that with my degree and certifications, I didn't run cables for that cheap. She replied that their installers did. I reiterated that the installer did not actually run any cables at all. She wouldn't budge. That was the day I got "paid" $15 for two hours of hard labor -plus, no benefits. And the Internet was slow.
This is really good. 😁 Hilarious! 😂
Good day Guardians and hello Jack Black Jack Black ! Hope you’re feeling better. 83 degrees yesterday, a little sleet this morning. Crazy! 😎👍View attachment 2513556
The grain on this bad boy is just amazing Todd. Always enjoy seeing it.

Blue Rope Albers in the pocket, and for quite a while to come, too! This grail is NO safe queen.

Years later, and I've switched Internet providers since then, I'm still stuck with the mental image inherited from the fat installer of a bunch of oompa-loompas storming the beaches at Normandy. People were smaller back then, y'know? 🙄

Band of Brothers would've been a different show entirely had that guy been directing...

It sure is great to have you back Jack. I hope you're feeling better my friend.
Thanks a lot Dwight, I still feel a bit strange, it seems much longer than a week since I was on my way to the hospital. I am definitely feeling better though :) Sorry to have worried everyone
A lovely photo :)

Great pic of Old Stripey Steve

Great story and great picture !
Sheesh, that means a lot coming from you, Steve! I hope that one day I can dial in the formula to get as much richness in my pics as you manage to stuff into yours on a regular basis!

I believe the closest I've ever been was when I was shooting a Nikon D200 with a very agreeable 50mm lens that seemed personally committed to covering up my mistakes! I've still got that rig around somewhere, maybe I'll have to hunt it down. 🤔

Thanks, Guardian!
