Thanks guys! My heart is weak because it's not beating as it should. So they've decided to do a procedure to fix the problem. Then they're going to change my meds and start trying to strengthen my heart back to normal. Good news is overall I'm better but it's a slow process. At least they've finally figured out certain problems and have a plan to fix it. Every day above ground is a good day.

Hope you are ok my friend, and I hope that they get it right for you- are they going to go in through the groin area and do that procedure where they burn with wee zaps where-ever they do to reset the Electric rhythm?

I have been at war of late with our Health system as my Cardio post care I am meant to be getting ( scan / checks ) they sent me letters to say they are too busy and cant do it- so I took the letter to my doctor who was disgusted and I said that it was stated clearly because of the work done on my Aortic Arch that this is important.

I have had a Metal Aortic Heart Valve thrown in, and My aortic arch was cut off close to my Heart and they grafted composite pipe in because I was carrying around a huge aneurysm ( it was like our bike tires when we were kids riding around with this huge bulge out the side of your tire lol).

They used to MRI and Cat scan me every year and watch it get bigger and bigger- and they had a measurement of 5.5 they were going to let it get to - well it got way past that stage until I had a wee turn, and then they got me in and sliced me up! When I saw it on a scan it was bloody huge!!!

So I recently received a letter of urgency to go for a scan on Monday- , My Doctor must have sent in a " warm" letter

LOL! I am very fond of where I live, in Chapeltown, Leeds, but it has long enjoyed a bad reputation (which I think is entirely undeserved). So some of the recently arrived yuppies have had the arrogance to try to re-name my part of it as 'Potternewton'. I received an anonymous letter yesterday, addressed to Potternewton Neighbour, inviting me to join their online group, where no doubt, a bunch of busy-bodies discuss gentrifying the area, house prices, and who they can report to the police/council

Still a fortnight until my dental appointment, but I have managed to greatly reduce the swelling to my jaw and face, caused by the infected tooth, by pulling out the crown with my finger and thumb, last night I'm going to have a slow amble to the market shortly I hope everyone has a good day

I told them "I don't know. As I spent a good part of my life chasing cows and drilling oil wells. Medical terminology is beyond me".
