Yes I think that's what they are going to do. They think it'll fix the A-Fib. When I called HR at work to tell them what was going on. They were asking me some technical questions. I told them "I don't know. As I spent a good part of my life chasing cows and drilling oil wells. Medical terminology is beyond me".

Not that old, Duncan. I believe Jack had mentioned 70s or 80s. It is crudely put together but that is what gives it the charm in my opinion.

Did you ever watch the series Black Books? I watched it a year or two ago, a bit silly, but I enjoyed it.

I did Barrett, I've got a couple of them on DVD, though it's a while since I watched them

Sounds like a nice time. I’m glad you enjoyed the movie. I’ve read a couple of the books (though it’s been a few years), and I think I watched the David Lynch film at some point, but I haven’t seen the new ones.

Thanks mate It's over 40 years since I read the books! I remember being enthralled by the first one, and the second one was good, but they went downhill from there, with the 4th one being pretty daft. I never read the fifth one. I'd definitely recommend the films, they are visually stunning

I've been carrying the Albers blue rope bone, my "Roper," pretty much constantly since I got it a few days ago. I love not only the looks but the tactility of the blue jigging. I'm afraid my other lambs will get pretty jealous, but I've always had a thing for blue rope bone. My Beni custom and my Gidge Albers both have better W&T than Roper, but he just needs some use to be smooth and slick.

The David Lynch Dune is one of my favorite movies. I've seen it at least a dozen times. It's so quirky! I've never read any of the books, so don't know if it is very accurate, but I sure enjoy watching it!

Really? I'm pretty sure I have it on DVD Jeff. There was a series, with John Hurt too, but I only had it on VHS The new films follow the book quite closely, but I reckon they're easier to understand if you've read the books

Jeff, I am all good, I had my op a couple or three years ago now my friend!, but yest to the other lads Jack and David- absolutely!!!

When bad health hits- its an awful ride, hopefully one you are able to jump off that train at one stage, but a few years before that I was very sick for three years- and I was getting worse, docs visits etc no good, and I was diagnosed with cancer, this was a much bigger op than my Heart, so after the op I am in hospital shuffling down the hall with all the hoses sticking out of everywhere- but I was looking into rooms ( trying to be discretely nosy) when going past and it really hit me..... there were people whos extremely bad legs with Diabetes - these people were so bad that it was obvious the legs were going to go, and I was thankful that I was in my position and not theirs - that experience was quite amazing in every way and realized that I was the luckiest person alive- my cancer was very unique so I had this huge Tumor that grew withing itself and didn't decide to travel through me- it had plenty of time to do it.

Many people with my ops say - oh poor you etc, but I immediately say- Oh no- I am probably the luckiest guy on earth alive - and that's how I feel!

Life is good isnt it!

Yes, the wax does have a strong odor but really works. I have one or two without tang stamps too Paul.
It is still a good looking lamb.
