Pete, especially your 2nd photo, really show the beauty of the purpleheart. I used to have an owl in my front yard, when I lived in St. Louis.

Great pics Paul :) I have had to start again a couple of times, mainly with knives I don't carry that often. When out walking, I'll wipe the blade with my bandana after cutting fruit, but this can cause 'Go Faster Stripes' in the existing patina, which look kind of ugly. With my Barlow, I've just left it as is :D :thumbsup:

I have heavily slimmed down, refined and slightly modified her.

Good morning Guardians, I hope that everyone had a relaxing weekend, and that your week gets off to a good start. I seem to have been trapped in a social whirl these past few days! :D In truth, it's friends checking I'm OK, and today I'm meeting up with Eve, who I've not seen for a few weeks, as she had some car troubles. I think we're going to get lunch in town, and have a walk to the Royal Armouries museum. It looks like a reasonable day, not raining at least, so maybe I'll get some pics. With that in mind, I'm declaring a Double Lambsfoot Day! :D ;) :thumbsup:
