I sure am SteveGlad you're enjoying your Pal !
I hope there's no damage buddy, that's some handsome horn
Does anyone have a play list? The Janesville knife show was great fun by itself, but hanging out with knife friends made it immeasurably better!!!
A strong contingent of Guardians were represented, and a bit (quite a bit) of bourbon was consumed on Friday night while playing some of the best music in recorded history.
Thanks to Barrett, Todd, Paul, Harry, Jeff, Greg, and others for making this show such a wonderful experience.
Shown is a Barber Lamb Foot knife sitting on a leather slip from Barrett to commemorate the show.

Very handsome David
Sounds like a good idea my friendThanks, Jack. We usually don’t get quite that early a start, but there was snow forecast the whole way down to Janesville, so we decided to give ourselves a little extra time.
Great news!We definitely had a great time! And don’t worry, it was an American-sized vehicle, in which a person of size like myself could comfortable sit in the back seat without my knees being crammed into the back of the front seat.![]()
I can only ever recall not being able to open two knives, and they both came from the same firm, in the past few years! You know a knife has a strong spring if it gives you trouble, Jack!![]()
Looking good Ken, great picsGood afternoon Guardians! Took the pup out for a walk, and had these 2 in my pockets…

Thanks Steve, glad you had those two
Nice choice Mitch
Easy to see whyThis one has been seeing a lot of action lately:

I know the feeling Mitch, I sometimes get salad or coleslaw dumped on my plate unasked for, doesn't go with everything. It's begun to wane here thankfully, but about a decade ago, they started sprinkling everything in pea sprouts! I do NOT want anything green on my Full English thank you!

Definitely a time to keep your feelings to yourself!
It was the wife that made it, so no saying no![]()
That's disappointing/ depressing/ distressing/ outrageous.I need to go into town later to see the optician, hoping he can explain why I can't read with the reading specs I just got, whereas I can read fine with an old pair I have from 15 years ago

Going to call in the docs too, and undoubtedly make a visit to Charlie's
Carrying some Ironwood today
Hope your week gets off to a great start Guardians

Thank you. I'm embarrassed. For the record I did look it up to be sure and GEC gave me bad information. You tooI'm afraid that isn't a Lambsfoot though. It pre-dates the Lambsfoot, and was known as a 'Short Beak'. Charlie's Ancient Barlow is a fabulous recreation. If you look in the Thread Index linked to on page 1 of this thread, you'll find some discussion of the pattern, and it is also discussed elsewhere in this sub-forum. Not a Lambsfoot though

I knew what you meant, Mitch!
