Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you David, Sawman is very handsome :)

It has been very rapid Dwight, but the country is well and truly broken :(

Fantastic pic my friend :)

Thanks a lot Michael, it's great to see you post :)

Very natty Mitch :)

Cool pic Vince, I've never seen those here (though I dare say, they can be found) :)

Thank you very much my friend :) Hope you're doing OK Leon :)

:)

Good morning Guardians, is it only Wednesday?! :D It's raining here, and I'm off to the opticians to see if they managed to get my reading glasses right this time  Got my Hartshead Barlow in my pocket :) Have a great day everyone

Love those wee boxes Jack :)

I really hope you get those Teeth sorted out, this sounds terrible my friend!

I have had mine (iPhone 7) for 7 years. Still going strong. I think I had my iPhone 4 for about 7 years too.

Edit: actually, I have had my phone for 6 years only. Hard to do math late at night!

That’s getting your money’s worth, Vince. As much as they cost, I usually try to do the same. I think I had my previous one for around 5 years before the battery life got bad enough that I decided to upgrade. I also miss the days when you could get a large discount on the phone for re-upping your contract with the carrier (I’ve been with the same carrier forever and never really had a problem). Now it seems like it’s either pay full price over a few years or pay full price up front.

Evening all,
Cooked curried sausages for dinner😋

Never had curried sausages, but I had to show this to my daughter this morning. Both of our girls (3 and 7) are fans of the Australian show Bluey, and curried sausages are mentioned in a few episodes.

I have made a few attempts to knock it off this past yearmate! :D

I remember! 🤕😁

Bad news Barrett, I hate having to get a new phone  Five years is pretty good though. I didn't like the iPhone I bought within the past year, so returned it, and bought an Android. However, I had a problem with a download, so went back to using my previous Android phone, which I found I actually preferred. The other one is working fine again now, but kind of superfluous to my needs! 😖

Yeah, I’m not looking forward to it, but I use the camera on my phone for so many things, I don’t think I’ll be able to go very long without it working properly. (In fact, I’ve got the Oregon knife show coming up next week, and will probably try to pick up a new phone before then.)

I imagine I could probably save some money by switching to Android, but I’ve been using an iPhone for so long now (and Mac computers for ever longer) that I don’t think I could make the switch.

Blade looks more Lamby in the videos I reckon, though still not sure they've got it quite right

I was thinking the same thing, just doesn’t look quite right. Almost looks like the edge has a slight curve to it. Then again, so did the first (and worst) Wright’s Lambsfoot I ever got. 😁

I have my Afzelia Burl Albers with me again today (old pic, so as not to subject y’all to any more blurry pics from my dysfunctional phone).

I had to buy a new phone at the end of last year, ad it was that old it was 3G and 3G is being phased out this year.
Looks like Dad is going to have to try and make curried sausages 😉
What a great age when the youngest was around 8 we used to watch Scooby Doo movies every Friday night on free to air TV. I had to cook her sausages and roast potatoes with tomato sauce on the side for dinner.

Great lamb mate!

Thanks Jack! Glad the market went well.

Thanks buddy!

Good pic of Waboom!
Thanks a lot David, it's always better when the rain stops! :D
Good market report ! 👍

Sorry, picture removed
Thanks Steve, I think your photo was quite acceptable as a first look at that knife, using a downloaded image, but hopefully, if folks choose to purchase one, they'll photograph it with the Clip blade folded. The same with GEC's Bayou Trapper
Great pic of Waboom !
Thanks a lot pal :)

Thank you very much my friend, it's a treasured treasure box :D Really Cool:  THanks mate, I hope so, don't want to live on soup for the rest of my days! ;)

I was talking to Tool Man today, about my affection for Australia, which from what I know of it from my friends here, in many ways reminds me of Britain in the 70's, which I think was a golden decade, I wish we could have held onto. Not perfect for sure, but we were the happiest folks in Europe - which has not been the case since! I've never had curried sausages either, but they sound like something I might have had as a kid. I can remember having curried baked beans! :D
I remember! 🤕😁
If I knew one single person I could trust to push the button on my camera, I could show you all the scar! :D

That sounds exciting Barrett, and worth having a camera for

I didn't manage to get through the registration process! 🤨😁 I have an iPad that I used for a brief period around 10 years ago, but has been in the drawer ever since, because it won't recognise the password I know is correct! Mind you I have a laptop, a present from my ex, like the iPad, which I've never used! :D ;)

I also thought there was a curve, which I see many modern manufacturers adding to straight-edge blades. It might just be the angle of the photo (if not, it's not a Lambsfoot). LOL! :D What WERE they thinking?! :D

Australian slang.
Possibly the best slang in the world! :D
Bonus pic of the day

Stunning shot! :)

It does appear to have a slight curve towards the tip

Looks tasty, Mitch. Is that curry powder spicy?
Good morning Guardians. Feeling better this morning. Thanks to all who sent me "get well" messages. Yesterday was a real wash-out. Dark and stormy day. No power outages though. Today is starting off nicely - clear skies. Wondering if any of our members were successful in acquiring one of Eric's LF knives that dropped last evening?
Today I have my HHB with me once again.

Glad you are feeling better, Bill. HHB is looking great.

My lamb senses are telling me that there is something off about it.
Morning Guardians. The rain is pouring down here. I took this picture yesterday. Thought I’d fondle my Albers lambs for luck on the drop. Needless to say no Springbok or Tasmanian Blackwood for me. But I do enjoy the experience and it’s free unless you win 🤔. Pretty great covers yesterday. I wanted the Springbok. The Tasmanian Blackwood made it a Sophie’s Choice. Eric’s drops have it all…lust, love, drama and the agony of defeat. Reminds me of my drinking days in bars. Happy Thursday.

Albers drops are like a guy dropping a golden nugget out of an airplane into a crowd at a concert 😂😂. Those two are lovely, Kurt!!
Morning Guardians! Beautiful spring day here. Hope everyone has a great day!

That is a fine lamb, David.
Good morning Guardians !

It's a beautiful sunny day here and warming up nicely 👍

Good gravy!!!! Is that new? That is wonderful, Steve.
Cool pic Mitch :)

Looks delicious 😋

Not had a BBQ here since the summer before last! ;)

That's good to hear Bill, I hope you continue to feel better :)

The Lambsfoot now seems unstoppable! :D Blade looks more Lamby in the videos I reckon, though still not sure they've got it quite right

'Sophie's Choice'! :D Cool (and very quotable) post Kurt, and a great pic :)

LOL! :D I'm hoping Eric sees that that! 🤣

Very sophisticated Rick :)

You too David, that's a nice one :)

Hope everyone is doing well, and having a good day :) It was raining hard this morning, and I had had a job come in last night, so I got up early, and got on with that, hoping the rain would stop before I finished. The job only took an hour, and the rain was still coming down, so I grabbed my Barbour, and headed out. I wrap up for the market, but it was colder than it has been lately. The school kids and college/university students are off at the moment, and it sure does make a difference, with the university students going back to see mum and dad, the kids probably having a lie-in, parents not having to do the school run, and all the teachers, lecturers, cleaners, dinner-ladies, and most of the other folks involved, in one way or another, in education, not having to head to the chalk face.

Tool Man had told me about the vast sandwich he had prepared last night, but he'd all but finished it by the time I arrived, just after 9am. The filling had been haslet, a very old-fashioned cheap meatloaf, which was considered kind of outdated, even when I was a kid. Though I never minded it, I only remember having it once or twice as a child, and once around 1982, when my mate offered me some he had bought out of nostalgia :D We have been trying to eat less cake today, but Tool Man ate a whole loaf of parkin, and I had a ring doughnut with my coffee. Tool Man seemed to do OK on the stall, and it brightened up a bit later. I shelled out for chips and gravy ;)

It's getting a bit late for a nap, but that's not to say I won't be having one! ;) Enjoy the rest of your day Guardians :) Let's see less of those Clip-points please

Having a few issues with PostImage today

Rain again!!! Time to invest in a house boat, Jack. I don’t think Tool Man is too picky about what he shoves in his pie hole 😂😂. Hope your day was good and you had a restful nap. Waboooom is looking sweet my friend.

Oldie but goodie, Barrett. My favorite of the Albers covers still.
bobstag
On another very wet day.
Buddy hanging in his garage bed while take some pictures 😁

Bobstag is a trusty knife, Mitch. The patina is looking great!!!
How does one express how nice that picture is!!! Awesome, Dwight. That is a sweetheart of a lamb.
Toffee Wings!!!!!!

Delightful Lamb 🐑
Yes I’m breaking my diet…..No I don’t care. Night shift life 😂😂. Good thing I don’t have to fend off Tool Man for this sucker 😁.

Reckon Tool Man would put a good fight for that.
