Yes I’m breaking my diet…..No I don’t care. Night shift life 😂😂. Good thing I don’t have to fend off Tool Man for this sucker 😁.

Congrats on that sweet Black beauty !

Good gravy!!!! Is that new? That is wonderful, Steve.

Thanks buddy, I've had this one for a while.

Looks tasty, Mitch. Is that curry powder spicy?

Glad you are feeling better, Bill. HHB is looking great.

My lamb senses are telling me that there is something off about it.

Albers drops are like a guy dropping a golden nugget out of an airplane into a crowd at a concert 😂😂. Those two are lovely, Kurt!!

That is a fine lamb, David.

Good gravy!!!! Is that new? That is wonderful, Steve.

Rain again!!! Time to invest in a house boat, Jack. I don’t think Tool Man is too picky about what he shoves in his pie hole 😂😂. Hope your day was good and you had a restful nap. Waboooom is looking sweet my friend.

Oldie but goodie, Barrett. My favorite of the Albers covers still.

Bobstag is a trusty knife, Mitch. The patina is looking great!!!

How does one express how nice that picture is!!! Awesome, Dwight. That is a sweetheart of a lamb.

Toffee Wings!!!!!!
Thanks Paul
Bobstag is still a favourite and works good😀
It is a reasonable spicy curry powder, just a couple or tea spoons at a time to taste. I keep it milder if the kids are having any😉

I’ll have to try and find some.
Got a delivery at lunchtime.
New Wright in oak scales. Some quick pictures. I'm already cleaning the pivot &;loosening it up.

.
Congrats on the new lamb, Mitch.

Nice one. Your mob is increasing, you'll be a squatter one day. :) Is that from the new stock from the Sydney seller ???
Thanks Leon
Yes it was, he emailed me that this time around the oak wasn't as light this time around and sent me some pictures. Good bloke to deal with.

It does appear to have a slight curve towards the tip

Thanks mate !
Thanks Steve, I notice a lot of modern manufacturers adding a curve to a straight edge. They seem to think it's a bonus or something
bobstag
On another very wet day.
Buddy hanging in his garage bed while take some pictures 😁

Bobstag and Buddy looking good Mitch :)

LOL! :D Yes, I can just see his sausage-like fingers making a move! 🤣

You may ell be right Paul

Yeah, I woke up to yet more of today, but it shows signs of brightening up now  He certainly isn't mate! :D Thanks a lot buddy, I hope your shift has gone OK, I'll have another go at getting some of that caffeine-rich chocolate to you this week!

Good morning Guardians, Yorkshire tea and sourdough toast to start my day, as usual. Less usual is that the sun is trying to come out! I hope everyone has had a good week, and that you're looking forward to the weekend :) I don't have much on today, but am hoping to meet up with Wolfie at some point. Thanks to my pals for putting this fine Lambsfoot in my pocket

Cool pic Jack !

Thanks Jack
Just basic, fit and finish not bad, liking the whiskey barrel oak.
It's a nail breaker and the edge grinds are slightly out but that's fixable with use😉
Sound Mitch, I had a knife from the factory, some years back, in similar-looking oak. Must have been left over from a dealer's SFO. Nice-looking knife, but the wrong foot  Sorry to hear about the flaws, but as you say, they are at least fixable
Cool pic Jack !
Thanks buddy, took it while I was looking after Musical Andy's stall last week

He was sulking yesterday, because I told him to ask someone else! I won't be losing sleep over it! :D ;)

I'm not working today. It's cold and rainy so the pistol range should be pretty empty.
That sounds like fun Jer, it a long time since I had a proper range session :( They're talking about outlawing crossbows now!
I'm with you, Jack. A "straight edge" should be straight!
It really annoys me when companies start changing old designs, rather than re-naming them

That sounds exciting Barrett, and worth having a camera for

I’m really looking forward to it, especially getting to meet a few BF folks (some of them Guardians) I haven’t met in person before.

I didn't manage to get through the registration process! 🤨😁 I have an iPad that I used for a brief period around 10 years ago, but has been in the drawer ever since, because it won't recognise the password I know is correct! Mind you I have a laptop, a present from my ex, like the iPad, which I've never used! :D ;)

🤣🤣

I also thought there was a curve, which I see many modern manufacturers adding to straight-edge blades. It might just be the angle of the photo (if not, it's not a Lambsfoot). LOL! :D What WERE they thinking?! :D

I remember a discussion a while back, in a different online knife group, where someone said they thought the difference between a sheepsfoot and a Lambsfoot was that’s a sheepsfoot had a curved edge. 😳😁

It's a GREAT pic Barrett

Thanks, Jack. Thought it was fitting now that baseball season is back. Which reminds me that it’s probably time for my annual viewing of one of my favorite baseball movies, Bull Durham. (I think the lollygaggers scene has found its way into this thread before.) ⚾

That’s a beauty, Paul!

Fantastic image Barrett.

Thanks, Dwight. I don’t know if you’re a baseball fan or a Razorback fan, but the Hogs are having a great season!

Oldie but goodie, Barrett. My favorite of the Albers covers still.
Nice burl!

Thanks, guys!

Another old pic (stuck with the baseball theme a bit). Stag HHB with me today.
