Happy Anniversary to you and Kristy, Mitch

Here's something for you to twirl around the living room to
LOL!
I'm guessing you're off to the knife show Barrett? If that's the case, I hope you have a great time buddy

I used to enjoy flying, but those small seats, and cramped cabins, certainly make it a lot less fun

Even though he had booked 2 seats, I felt sorry for the Yorkshire Grossberger that was on my flight back from Lanzarote at Christmas
Actually, that guy was TWICE the size of Grossberger!
That's nice Mitch

Congratulations on the milestone

My mate Wolfie, and his missus, get Thai every Saturday night, they must have been doing it nearly 20 years!

Hectic times my friend, but I think you will look back on them fondly one day

That Lamb looks better and better, with the contrasting grey patina

I hope you had an easy night at work buddy
Thanks pal, it's not a job I'd apply for!

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has had a good week, and made it through to Friday in one piece. That $30 bottle of wine I had last night sure was a disappointment

It's dull outside here, but the pavements are dry, which makes a change, recently. I need to run some errands today - like going back to the pharmacist, who didn't pack all my prescription

I'll definitely be calling in at Charlie's, for a coffee or two, on my way though
A few times over the years, I've mentioned an old lady, who lived a few doors away. She had a strong Cockney accent, despite living here 70-odd years, and told me she was born in the Tower of London, as her dad was a Beefeater (the ceremonial guards there). She had a fall about a year ago, and ended up going to stay with her daughter. Family members used to call by, from time to time, to check on the house, and I'd always ask after her. I spotted her daughter and granddaughter, the other night, and they told me she had, sadly, passed away. I shared a few recollections, including the time she had me and the postman blushing with her language!

But it seems that being born in the Tower of London was just a fantasy!

Ah well...

Opposite her, was Uri, who was born in a Latvian POW camp (I'm pretty sure THAT is true, at least). He grew up in the house, but is now selling it, as will happen with the old lady's house. These houses go for about a £1 Million, so the nature of my street is going to be changing, as it already has over the past 10 years.
Have a great day Guardians
