Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks Jack. I have to go to the gym to use the book you sent me.😁
I know what you mean Bob, the second edition, having larger text, is even bulkier. I once tried to read it in bed, and was worried they'd find me squashed under it's weight! :D

I'll have a look at Outer Range. I don't stream much, but I get my money's worth out of the free shipping.
Excellent pic of Old Toffee Wings Jer
Sweet bone Jack !
Thanks Steve :)
Going back to Beni for the weekend.

Hope you have a good one my friend :)
Hilarious! 😂

Very nice lamb Jack. 👍
Thanks pal :)
SWEET Dwight! :)

I called in at Charlie's late morning, and had a coffee. Ignoring W.C. Fields famous advice, I've been trying to drink more water recently too :D Unfortunately, in the market, Our Cake Man had just finished a bowl of noodles, so I went to the Tunisian place alone. I'll catch him in the week

I like seeing all the Guardians actually using their Charlie Lambs, not just pulling them out for pictures. 🤠
Very cool picture, John. Does it get better that an ebony Charlie lamb? I think not.
Thank you, my friend. :)
I'll admit that at first I didn't think a whole lot of it, but I've since warmed to it greatly.
Thanks pal, it's on Amazon Prime
I have it earmarked for the three weeks I'll be home alone. 🤠
I do love a good Appaloosa Bone. 🤠

I'm just having some Cretan olives, with some hummus and pitta bread, and a glass of wine, so I thought I'd post a few more pics from my trip

The view of the sea didn't change too much :D

A good job I had my book with me :)

Most folks just stayed in the hotel, which had multiple pools.

With dangerous dogs around, it might have been a good idea

I got friendly with a couple from Stafford, in the English Midlands. They planned to hire a car for the day, (which was actually very inexpensive), and figured I was someone who might have a few ideas where to go. So we arranged to go to Heraklion, Crete's capital, which was about a 40 minute drive away.

I took a few photos along the way. Crete has more than 30 Million olive trees!

After 15 minutes travelling along winding dirt-tracks, we reached the main road.

Going old school today.

Really enjoying your pics Jack. 👍🤠

Something which I hadn't been aware of, before picking a fairly random time to go to Crete, is that the weekend I would be there, and the days either side of it, are actually Easter in Greece. Heraklion is a beautiful city, rich in history, but since it was Good Friday when we visited, and Cretans had the day off work, it was packed. I already had a tip about available parking spots from my research, but with the holiday, and our inexperienced driver, it still took a while to find a parking spot, and it may well have been the very last free parking spot in Heraklion. We were not far from the port, so went to get a view of the spectacular Venetian fortress, which guards the mouth to the harbour.

The streets running up the hill from the port were steep, and wide, and lined with cafes and tourist gift shops, and we stopped for Greek coffee at one of the cafes.

There was lots of beautiful architecture, but navigation was hindered by the fact that the the signs directing people to the various museums and sights had the English portion of the text graffitied over :(

Tool Man about to devour one of several breakfast sandwiches! o_O Golden Gordon's expression speaks for many of us (the Civilised World)! :D

Looks like David Attenborough presenting a nature documentary on a newly discovered species of wild carnivorous animal.

Since there were were quite a few faces around mid afternoon, I thought I'd take a pic. Tool Man will pose at the merest glimpse of a camera, but Boring Ray, as usual, has his eyes closed on each of the 10 photos I took, Scott is looking in a completely different direction on 9 of them, and Old Brian has his finger in his ear on the first 6, and is looking elsewhere on all of them! 😖

Would you really expect a group pic of that lot to turn out any other way? 😁
