I’ve been doing some weed pulling and tilling in our little raised beds this afternoon. We have four small beds and I let two of them get away from me last year, they’re a mess. I used this ebony lamb to cut away some clogged tines in the tiller.

Currently at the movies with my son watching “Kingdom of the planet of the Apes”. We watched all of the earlier releases last week. Got the burlap lamb today. Hope everyone had a good day.

My Lamb helped me hang decorations this afternoon.
I was glad to get it back in my pocket when I got home, and promptly put it to work.

Opening a package that actually arrived before 8.30am, which is rare. Lucky I had not been home long from morning walk. Speaking of which, getting cold, 46f just after 7am.


A new chestnut crook cane, I had 1 that I gave to someone else that needed 1 a few years ago.

Be rare here these days too Mitch Congratulations on the new cane mate, great pics I wasn't sure if I'd be in on Friday, so arranged to have a package delivered to a drop-off point in a shop down the road. I went down twice yesterday, but the shop was closed!

Sliding down page one. Doing some maintenance on a Monday. A sharpen, strop and oil. This oil is the best i have used, actually dissolves the gunk making it much easier to get out. .

Thanks for your vigilance Leon I need to have a good maintenance and fettling session myself! I think I remember you mentioning that oil before mate

It's a shame the food at Charlie's doesn't match the coffee and cake, I had Beans on Toast there on Saturday, and it is probably the worst in Leeds! Hope you're all fit and able Guardians, and ready to take on the week I'm starting mine with my Albers

I had Beans on Toast there on Saturday, and it is probably the worst in Leeds!

I was going to ask how it's possible to make Beans on Toast badly, but my favorite bar serves Texas Toast which is seldom warm, toasted, or buttered, so I get it.

Thanks Mitch, it's a strange shop that one, like a lot of the parcel franchises As often happens, the box was vastly bigger than the items within, so they went in my bag, and the cardboard got cut up on one of the tables outside Charlie's cafe, and left in the bin

It takes a certain level of stupidity I reckon! Using the cheapest, thin-sliced, supermarket bread, and the cheapest margarine, doesn't help, (nor does charging £4), but not heating the beans is the piece de resistance! Unfortunately, the only thing that gets better there is my Italian! Charlie needs to get back behind the counter, and stop playing Charlie Potatoes!
