Using my new vise

Looks like a good set-up mate

Just briefly checking in here after catching up on the thread. I haven’t exactly been busy lately, but I’ve been a bit absent nonetheless. Here’s a quick pick of my Afzelia Burl Albers Lambsfoot I snapped earlier while picking up some donuts with the girls after school.

Thanks- no, I think I threw the old one out a few years ago because varmints had chewed the interior foam rubber.
The new one has a beak and whistles! (Slight visor and 18 ventilation holes.)
This is a different pic but a near duplicate. I threw out the wrong pic to begin with.

When I first knew my mate Wolfie, he was only in his mid 20's, even dafter than he is now, and rode his bike like a maniac. I was always telling him to get a helmet. One day he bought this fancy full-face cycle helmet, and I thought he'd finally wised-up. A few days later, he cracked it in two on a lamp-post! It wasn't on his head at the time, but strapped to his courier bag, as he raced two other young idiots!
