That is awesome, so many great memories being made. Thanks, Bob. I did bring some other knives in addition to the Lambs, but why mention those.
Thanks, Jack, everyone’s doing well.Hope you’ll be feeling better soon after your dental procedure.
Thanks, John. Pure luck, I assure you. No one’s ever accused me of being elegant!
That pizza looks great, Mitch. My wife and I have very different taste in pizza — she likes any and every vegetable imaginable, while I prefer as many different meats as you can throw on there — but pepperoni and jalapeño is one that we both enjoy.
Yesterday we headed into downtown St. Louis for a Cardinals game at Busch Stadium. Baseball is by far my favorite sport, and I’ve been a Cardinals fan my entire life (growing up in Arkansas, we didn’t have any of our own professional sports teams). I went to my first game at the old Busch Stadium when I was just a few months old, and we used to drive up for games fairly often before Julie and I moved away from Arkansas in 2011. This was the first Cardinals home game I’ve been to since then, and it was good to be back.
Before the game, we stopped at 4 Hands Brewing Co. They offer parking on games days for $10, and you get a token for a free beer, so I don’t think it’s a bad deal.

Back in 2005, when they were building the current Busch Stadium, they offered fans an opportunity to purchase personalized bricks that would pave the walkway around the outside of the stadium. My dad bought a brick for me that year for Christmas, so we always have to stop by and see it before we go in.

The brick is located outside the team store, near this Stan Musial statue. (I also have one on my bookshelf at home, which they sent you when you purchased one.)

We had a pretty nice view from our seats.

Scout found the seats themselves a little tricky, as any time she sat all the way back, the seat would start to fold up on her. She didn’t seem to mind too much, though.

After the game (the Cardinals won, 5-1), you could line up to let the kids run the bases. The line was long, but it moved pretty fast. That’s Eleanor in the black shirt and red hat.

Thanks Todd, they said it would take a couple of weeks for my mouth to heal. After that, I can assess whether I need to shell out for implants or not - I worry that, at my age, I might not get my money's worth!![]()

Good morning Guardians. Rainy morning but that did not dissuade me from my morning walk. Seems like a Blue Rope kind of day.

Don't think I'd have implants done there Jack. Go somewhere they have professional dentists. Perhaps the Democratic Republic of the Congo or maybe Bangladesh...Thanks Todd, they said it would take a couple of weeks for my mouth to heal. After that, I can assess whether I need to shell out for implants or not
Dwight, your lamb is stellar. What a fine garden you cultivate.
