Good morning Guardians. It’s going to be a pretty nice day today so I’m hoping to finish one of my deck projects today. Schlafly is my favorite brewery, Boulevard is my second favorite. Saw this hat when we were at the brewery this past spring and dropped a few hints about how much I liked it.My daughter must have heard me because she got me one for Father's Day…she’s such a smart kid!

The sun is out in force now, and I'm just having a limonata on the pavement outside Charlie's![]()
Well the Eagle has landed. A few months ago me and a few crazy guardians had an idea for a nice group lamb from our friend @Cosimo De Benedetto . I contacted Cosimo and he said ok and a deal was struck!!!! These are also numbered and he has agreed to keep a running number tally so if another one is sold it will get the coinciding number engraved on it. We have had 9 of these ordered so far and I can tell you they are absolutely stunning. I will hold off on carrying mine until all five of you fine Guardians have them in your possession. If you want the details on how to get one please keep it to PM and keep this thread clean of that stuff.
Details of the knife are
K720 Bohler carbon steel
Triple rat tailed bolsters
Old school jigged brown bone
Size is that of a 93 lambsfoot.
I just want to thank Cosimo so much for taking on this monumental task. These came out better than I imagined.

Great pics Mitch
Gorgeous bone on that oldster Bob
Great pic of OLd Faithful John
Another winner Steve
Delightful Dwight
Rhapsodizing the Lamb!I'm not a fan of the Sheepsfoot blade... too fat at the tip.
I'm not a fan of the Wharncliffe blade... too narrow at the tip.
Both the Sheepsfoot and Wharncliffe look strange to me eye, my least favorite blade shapes.
But the Lambsfoot blade on the other hand... It's a happy median and such a Goldilocks straight edge blade... It's beautiful.

Sorry folks!I've had an ODD day!
I got a call for first thing, asking me to help out with a work emergency, and then, on my way to the market, I received a text calling me into the dental hospital, which meant I had to cut my visit to the market short. I figured I was being called in for a routine check-up to see how my mouth was healing, but I had to wait a couple of hours. Then, it transpired there had been a mix-up, I was actually there to have two teeth extracted - the two teeth I had extracted 2 weeks ago!
When the mistake came to light, I ended up having to wait to see someone to do the post-op check-up!
By the time I was finished at the hospital, not only did I not have time to go back to the market, but I needed to get home, and get cleaned-up, and changed, for a social event I was going to this evening! It's after 11pm now, and I only got back home 10 minutes ago. I have 2 or 3 pics from the market, I think, but they'll have to wait until tomorrow now, as I am beat!
I do hope everyone has had a good day
