I hope everyone is having a fantastic day :) I've been flying around a fair bit. Met a few interesting people at the charity event, but it was art-focused, and those aren't usually the waters I swim in! Had some nice cake, but the food wasn't great, and it was very overpriced. 'Mushroom burgers', turned out to be a mushroom, with some onions and lettuce, in a bread roll - £7! :eek: I guess they raised some money! :rolleyes: :D Too late for me to eat anything better now unfortunately :rolleyes:

This is the way to do it, every Saturday fund raisers can hire out bunnings bbq for sausage sizzle, at the end tells you how much has been raised, pretty impressive.
 
Sunday Morning breakfast. Went shopping at what could be loosely termed my local market to do some meat shopping. While i was perusing one of the butchers there they bought out a heap of sausages, so i made some enquiries. Never tried his snags before, he informed me they had been made the day before on the Friday and hung overnight in the cool room, the right way to make a good sausage, so i thought i'd give 'em a try. Good decision, they are good. 👍👍👍👍. Good old fashioned well made sausages and not at the trendy prices that some ask for. Good way to start a cold Sunday. Have a good weekend everyone.

Yeah, the place was kind of chaotic, lot of full of their self types. I was told there would be food there, and hadn't had any lunch, but all I could get was a piece of cake and a coffee, (both quite good, but it was an hour before I got them), and promises. There was supposed to be a barbecue, but then it turned out it was vegetarian. This was really disorganised too, and after paying for what I had been told was a 'burger', it was a further 2 hours, before I got handed a mushroom about 8pm! 🤨 Place is some sort of arty hangout, it was a lot better when it was a pub! 🙄
