Hi. Just after last posting to this thread, my GF noticed that one of our two cats wasn't looking very good (I'll spare you the truly disgusting details). After some home remedies and even more waiting and seeing, Snowflake ended up having to spend two nights at the vet in severe gastrointestinal distress and after his release, I ended up having to give a very smelly cat various medications every 8, 12, and 24 hours for the past week and a half. Pets aren't for the faint of heart.
In positive news, Snowflake is doing better and nothing calamitous has occurred in the past 48 hours or so. I'm thinking about putting up one of those signs:
Safety starts with YOU! There have been NO abject disasters at this facility in __ hours!
Something like that.
