Good morning Guardians, going to be crunch time here in the UK this weekend, to see if we are over the worst of it, for now. I thoroughly hope so. I'm hoping to meet up with a few pals today, but we are playing it by ear, to some extent. Got my AC with me :) Have a great day Guardians :thumbsup:

I'm glad you have your grandfather's knife, he had good taste :) The Lambsfoot is Sheffield's most common pattern, made by hundreds of Sheffield cutlery firms, and over the years, hundreds of thousands of Sheffield knives have been made with that same generic tang stamp, they still are today. Sometimes, you can make an informed guess as to the maker, in this case though, I don't think that's possible. Lambsfoot knives only date back as far as the late 19th century, but the things that help date a knife, apart from style, and construction type, are hard to determine without a thorough examination of it. Dating it may be easier by thinking about your grandfather's life, when he was born, and where he lived, and any other information you have about the knife, and his use of it. It would be nice to see some more photos :thumbsup:

Jack the ruins are believed to be a Pueblo Native American astral observatory. The stone construction style is “Chaco” who were a tribe from about 90 miles away. It was really interesting. Let me see what other photos I can post on it. There is a river in the valley below the Mesa where they lived and farmed.
