Yeah you wouldn't want to be tightening a shackle in the middle of the north sea, you'd be called 3 finger JackLOL!![]()
LOL!That's an interesting point about the shackle key
That's some handsome Rosewood Gary, cool pic![]()
Beautiful stag, and great lines, on that one DwightGorgeous

Happy Double Lambsfoot Day!![]()
Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is OK. It's been raining in the night, and kind of dull so far, so I might stay in, and try and get a few tasks done indoors. Got my Pals Lamb in my pocketHave a great day Guardians

It was just a little bath, he still looks great.Afternoon all
Brian is back, he's been out of action. Last week Brian went on an adventure through the washing machine, I didn't find him till the next day.
Problem is it was in Jack's tweed slip so kept it wetwhen I took him out I could have cried, some light rusting and soaked scales. I cleaned it up and hit it with Wd40
I thought I might have to go steel wool but i got away with a new scourer sponge. I let the scales dry naturally for days and then used some tung oil.
Brian is good, Sheffield PROPER STRONG!
started working on a new patina

Ever present work horses in the Ute, old and new.
Edit: and yes the interior is due for another clean. It’s a weekly or fortnightly job this time of year!

Nice Oak covers and a well loved oldie
Pals Lamb is a dandy !
You don't have to open the blade to use the shackle key.I like it, although I don't think I'd like tightening a shackle with the blade open.
Thanks pal! That's quite a rig Dwight
Always good to see you Dan and wonderful to get an update on your better half!Good evening Guardians

Thank you JeremyFantastic Pals lamb, Jack. Hope you have a great day.
Thanks Steve, one of several nice surprises I've had this yearPals Lamb is a dandy !
Phew! You don't have to open the blade to use the shackle key.
Jameson will have been a factor Dwight, much harder to find, but trying searching in relation to hardware, etc. I wonder if they were Irish, or Liverpool possibly. I have a nice old Sheffield made knife, which was sold by Kelly of Liverpool, lot of Irish folks there
Gorgeous!
A classicSome pile side love this morning and always a good reminder to oil the joints and keep things moving!

Sweet Steve, that's a great pic
Sweet Steve, that's a great pic:Thumbsup:
Market Day tomorrow, and I think I can spare the time to head down there for a few hours (thankfully, as I've already had Tool Man on the phone, practically in tears!)Unfortunately, according to the weather forecast, it is set to rain all afternoon
We shall anyway
No doubt the usual rabble will be down there, as usual, and I shall be showing off my pearl-like Pals Lamb
