Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you Jack . During this time of year I don't take as much time to be on Forums as I do in the winter . A Lambfoot is often in my pocket and it seems to always be my first one which is as you know and old TEW .

And rarely but sometimes I will carry these 2 together .

I still have these from 2017 but they are never carried and they are made of Unobtainiam . The Horn colors were very difficult capture .

Fabulous photos Harry :) I hope you're keeping well my friend :)

Congrats to echoscout echoscout , that lamb looks like a winner!!

Thank you Jack Black Jack Black for another awesome giveaway! Your generosity is inspiring!

Here's another one I haven't carried for quite some time. Definitely honored to have it! Not going to lie, it may not cut anything today, but I definitely will be having a good CE & CF session with it. 😂 I do a lot of driving at work, and it's nice to have a 'worry stone' along for the ride.

Good stag on your HHB 👍🤠

Wonderful flock of 🐑 🐑 🐑 🐑 🐑 👍 🤠

I hope everyone is having a good day :) It was windier than I realised, when I went out, and it has continued to blow most of the day, even after it brightened up a bit. Usually the wind blows South to North here, but last night it was blowing from the West. I remember, 20 years ago, going out, and noticing there was a strong West wind, and I came home to find 2 big old trees down. Thankfully, no big 'uns down close to me this time, but some big branches, which still caused a bit of damage.

I sandwiched a Vietnamese lunch between 2 visits to Charlie's ;)

Ouch !

Nice flock Harry !

Mark down another GL-24 that’s made its way to home! Super happy about this one and glad to have the opportunity. A big thanks to btb01 btb01 for putting this SFO together. I have a feeling I know what lamb will be in my pocket for the foreseeable future!

I was really hoping I’d get one with some interesting dark marks going on, and boy did my wish come true. Absolutely love both sides.

Planning on being home for lunch but as happens been out in the paddock a lot longer than expected today. Quickly stopped in to the local bakery for a pepper pie and continue on my way.

As far as “fast food” goes, you could certainly do a lot worse. That looks tasty!

LOL! :D I did notice a fairly dramatic increase in quality, and a change of style at one point. Maybe he's got a new apprentice! :D ;)

No, it can’t be that, his website clearly says that “each knife is hand crafted from start to finish by one craftsman”… 🤨

Clearly not a first date! 🤣;)

No, we’d been dating for a couple years at that point. Amazing that we still were after that. 🤣

I have assembled the sophisticated drawing equipment. THis giveaway is sponsored by Harris Tweed! ;) :D

The only way to draw for a giveaway!:thumbsup:

And the winner is...

Congratulations David 🥳 If you PM me your address, I'll get a package off to you next week :)

Thank you for entering everyone :) My other giveaway is still open

Congrats to David! 🙂

Are they supporting sponsors of Blade Forums ????🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣;)

Great bunch of knives, Harry! That old TEW is a beaut, love the bolsters! And that Kringle in your first pic is making me hungry… 😁

I'm not sure who the car belongs to. The house it's parked in front of belongs to a friend of mine, they ran a nursery, but their family grew up, and they decided to retire about a year ago. Last I heard, they were planning to split the house into apartments, so maybe the car belongs to one of their tenants, or was just an unlucky bit of parking. Where it is, you're mostly clear of the big trees
Happy Friday Guardians !

Charlie Lamb today 👍

Thanks Jack !

I'm glad no trees that size came down on my street last night! Nice background for your GL-24 Tyson :)

We took that tree down last year - during the previous winter's storms, we were concerned about that tree coming down (it was old and unhealthy). Since it was right over our bedroom, during the highest wind period, we ended up sleeping on a mattress in my office. A woman in Midtown Sacramento died that year when a tree feel through her roof and killed her in her bed. For a little better scale, here's the full stump (the GL-24 is approximately the same place as in my original pic above). It's a Chinese Tallow, and continues to run up little suckers all over the lawn that we have to keep poisoning. We are assured that after 18 months of that, it will really be dead, then we can take the stump out. (And then we'll plant an Autumn Gold Ginko in that spot.)

And here's a closeup of my double lamb day carry. Stainless and Stainmore. I love both of these knives.

Thank you for the story Tyson :) I've had a couple of big ones come down close by, but not quite that size I don't think  I'm glad you're OK, and hopefully you can enjoy the shade of that Ginko in your Autumn years, with a Lambsfoot in your hand :)
It’s the only way to fly mate!

Patty, onion, lettuce, tomato, beetroot, bacon, cheese, chips and tomato sauce, mayo and homemade hot sauce on a brioche bun.
Beetroot? Hmmm, that's something didn't see coming :)
