Didn't you know the bullion is stashed in the spare roomWithout Imelda's massive amount of disposable cash unfortunately.![]()
Thanks Mitch!Thanks Jack.
Yeah I go for more supportive footwear these days.
You have a great day Imelda, as I said our post office closed. Apparently the 1 in the ne t suburb over can't cope with demand and gas to employ more staff![]()

That's quite a story Jack, bulls can be dangerous!I grew up most of my life at the foot of the Grampians mountain range and only a few kilometres away from where the Moora Savage once roamed. Dad used to tell us the story of the Moora Savage when we were kids at bed time. I now tell it to my boys whom also love it. Found this at a second hand book store one day and jumped at it.
Edit: forgot context, Moora Savage was a white wild bull that would attack people passing through. Killed a few horses and one man before some kids out hunting kangaroos shot him.

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has had a good week. I have some stuff to do at home, and then I'm heading out to the post office, and to the hardware shop (couldn't even find screws in Leeds market yesterday!). I might be able to call in at Charlie's, but I have lots of dull things to do at home unfortunatelyHope you have a good day Guardians

Thanks Steve, Tool Man is going into the ferret roping business!Great pic Jack !
That GL24 is amazing Paul!
I definitely have it somewhere Dwight, it's a great picI spent ages looking for it last night, but it must have got moved to the wrong folder or something. I'll keep searching for it tonight
I think I've seen you in Leeds market pal!![]()
Thanks buddy, I hope that weather went through without any harm
LOL!Looks tasty Jack

Another cool pic David![]()
I shot one a few times 40 years ago, very little recoil, as you'd imagine with that calibre, but it climbs in full auto if you don't use the stock!A strange gun, but interesting historically. One of the strangest subs I've had a play around with is a Hotchkiss Type Universal, (I had to look up the name, as I only knew the manufacturer), folds up like some kind of Steam Punk handbag, with a spring-loaded barrel!
When I was getting knives made up in Sheffield many years ago, two of the dodgiest-looking guys I've ever seen came into the cutler's workshop, and they had a deactivated vintage MAT-49 in a case. I'd never met them before, and they were very surprised I knew what it was. It wasn't me they had come to speak to though, and in retrospect, I dread to think why they wanted to talk to the cutler, who unbeknown to me, had some dodgy dealings
Sorry for the digression folks
Looking good my friend![]()
Good for you Mitch, they look comfortableI suffer with my feet, and am always buying new footwear. My house is starting to look like a male version of Imelda Marcos's wardrobe!

Fantastic photos Dan, you and your Lambsfoot can charm birds out of the air![]()
Oh no! I thought you'd finished with the nights Paul!I hope you can get some more regular hours soon pal, your GL-24 is a beauty
I once knew a French guy whose family were all officers in the French Foreign Legion. He had grown up in Algeria, playing with the local kids, where the favourite game among young boys, was snatching up scorpions by the tail!
Sounds like a great night my friendIt's funny, because I can remember seeing the movie for the first time, and it must have been in a theatre, but I really can't remember it!
I saw the other two in theatres too, but Shaun is my favourite
Burger and fries look good too Barrett

That posh chip butty is making me hungryIt's a beautiful day here - for once!I called in at Charlie's, but Hisham, who I had the photos for, wasn't there, so after a cup of coffee and a muffin, I headed up to Cliff's Hardware store, a couple of miles up the road. I picked up some screws and rawl plugs I needed, then caught the bus to the post office, posted off my recent giveaway prizes, and did some shopping at the nearby supermarket. A few weeks back, I noticed that one of the yuppie places up there was selling a posh chip butty, so thought I'd try one for lunch - "Triple-cooked ras el hanout potatoes, smoked garlic houmous, tarator tahini sauce & spring green bakoula. Served in a toasted focaccia roll." - £11.15
Interesting, and certainly filling, but I wouldn't go back for anotherI'll not mention the price of the beverage!

Love that micarta!!
Amazing photos! We don't have many birds getting too close. My son, now 9, still LOVES chasing birds.
That looks like a really good worry stone!
Been a while since I've seen that movie but it was a good one! I vaguely remember seeing it in the theatre when it came out. Always been a horror movie fan and zombies are usually fun!I wasn’t on swim lessons duty because I had tickets to see a staple of the unofficial Guardians Film Club.

I grabbed a quick bite before the movie. I had hoped to find a place close to the theater where I could maybe get a pint, but there were mostly pricey steak houses and that sort of thing in the area, so I settled for an overpriced (but very tasty) burger and fries at Shake Shack.

As you can see, I had my 2024 Guardians Lamb with me. The movie was, of course, great. It was nice to watch it in a theater (I don’t think I saw it in theaters when it came out), and the remastered Dolby Atmos audio was surprisingly awesome.

Unfortunately a movie theater isn’t a great place for knife pics, so I promise to double up on Lambsfoot content tomortomorrow
Fantastic micarta, as usual! Hope you had a great day!Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has had a good week. At first I though you were going to say The Moora Savage was like your version of the Florida Skunk Ape, but looks like it was real!I grew up most of my life at the foot of the Grampians mountain range and only a few kilometres away from where the Moora Savage once roamed. Dad used to tell us the story of the Moora Savage when we were kids at bed time. I now tell it to my boys whom also love it. Found this at a second hand book store one day and jumped at it.
