My eldest boy started getting into it just before the explosion. Good to see dunny is making a comeback
One good thing, we do favourite thing every night at the dinner table after the boys first saw that episode. Good bit of nightly family time.
How old are your Rugrats?
Han doesn’t really care what I do with my spare money. Mind you I told her Albers are hard to get and what the asking price for second hand were, but may have forgotten to mention what this one was with dollar conversion![]()
Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are funny men!
I once knew a French guy whose family were all officers in the French Foreign Legion. He had grown up in Algeria, playing with the local kids, where the favourite game among young boys, was snatching up scorpions by the tail!

Sounds like a great night my friendIt's funny, because I can remember seeing the movie for the first time, and it must have been in a theatre, but I really can't remember it!
I saw the other two in theatres too, but Shaun is my favourite
Burger and fries look good too Barrett

It's a beautiful day here - for once!I called in at Charlie's, but Hisham, who I had the photos for, wasn't there, so after a cup of coffee and a muffin, I headed up to Cliff's Hardware store, a couple of miles up the road. I picked up some screws and rawl plugs I needed, then caught the bus to the post office, posted off my recent giveaway prizes, and did some shopping at the nearby supermarket. A few weeks back, I noticed that one of the yuppie places up there was selling a posh chip butty, so thought I'd try one for lunch - "Triple-cooked ras el hanout potatoes, smoked garlic houmous, tarator tahini sauce & spring green bakoula. Served in a toasted focaccia roll." - £11.15
Interesting, and certainly filling, but I wouldn't go back for anotherI'll not mention the price of the beverage!

I think I have everyone here in my will.
Remember, they are only worth $10....can't be too good.
Wonderfully made
LOL!
Now imagine telling her you’re paying for 26 Albers at once.![]()
Me too mate, it's dangerous enough trying to eat my chips without getting bitten by Tool Man!Yeah, I’ll pass on that. This is about as close as I want to get.
![]()
Thanks for the heads-up mateI’m a bit surprised that I didn’t originally see it in a theater, but I don’t think I saw it until a couple years after it came out. It was released my second year of college, and I really started getting more interested in film a year or so after that, when I took a few film courses as part of my English degree, and also acquired a big TV and a surround sound system for the house I was sharing with a friend.
Keep an eye out, I think the 20th anniversary re-release in the UK is supposed to be next month (which is somewhat confusing, as it originally released there months before it did here.) Google says September 27th for the UK.![]()
The flavour of the chips was completely overwhelmed unfortunately, and they were a bit soggyThat is a fancy looking chip butty! Most of it looks pretty good, but I’m not sure about the green stuff.
You’ve got some of the best $10 knives I’ve seen, Bob!![]()
Thank you Steve, I'm very impressedSuch great character on those handles !
Fabulous pic Dan
When I lived in Arizona, I’d hunt them in the backyard with a black light, but I usually found it easiest just to crush them with a long stick. I think shooting them would be a little impractical. Wait, I think we’re talking about different things…![]()
That is cool Jack. I’ll PM you on the topic of select fire.I shot one a few times 40 years ago, very little recoil, as you'd imagine with that calibre, but it climbs in full auto if you don't use the stock!A strange gun, but interesting historically. One of the strangest subs I've had a play around with is a Hotchkiss Type Universal, (I had to look up the name, as I only knew the manufacturer), folds up like some kind of Steam Punk handbag, with a spring-loaded barrel!
When I was getting knives made up in Sheffield many years ago, two of the dodgiest-looking guys I've ever seen came into the cutler's workshop, and they had a deactivated vintage MAT-49 in a case. I'd never met them before, and they were very surprised I knew what it was. It wasn't me they had come to speak to though, and in retrospect, I dread to think why they wanted to talk to the cutler, who unbeknown to me, had some dodgy dealings
Sorry for the digression folks

Very cool and congratulations!
