Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

The GL-24 GAW was very exciting. I caught the drawing as it was happening. Thanks Barrett and congrats to Jeff.

Jack sorry to hear of the fading away of the Teddy get togethers. Boring Ray will have to wander hotel hallways elsewhere. The bright side I guess is some grandmothers feel safer. But maybe others are a little sad. 😔

Here’s the mark side of my “harlequin” lambsfoot. This one is almost exactly…4 inches. I like that size. And with the curved handle it fits well in my hand. But in actuality size really doesn’t matter with the stuff I cut. One day I will think about the ergonomics of the various sizes and angles etc. but not today. Happy Monday.

I had a really hard time choosing between the 😍 and 🤣 reaction options!

The knife demanded 😍, and got it - but the image of grandmother's slightly saddened at the fading Teds almost won out!

Thanks for some additional clues to the mystery, Will!

GT, as promised, it is an Anastatica - more commonly referred to as Rose of Jericho. I found the Wikipedia article I linked to an interesting read! Thanks for inquiring - I may not have gone digging if left unprompted!

Just checking the old BP before a coffee sends it through the roof.:eek::eek:🤣🤣🤣.

Hope it's looking as good as your Charlie Lamb Leon :)
Thanks, Jack. :)
Brain-blowing burl on your Albers!! 😲:thumbsup:
Thanks buddy :)
Thanks, Jack; over the course of several years, I've managed to get some keeper photos of most of my knives.
Definitely :)
Thanks again, Jack. :)
Sorry to hear that the Sunday sausage sammich tradition has fallen out of fashion. :(
Sadly, my Sundays seem to be busier than they were in the past. I try hard to take on as little work as possible, so I'm not sure how that has come about  I guess I need to try harder ;)
Bonus picture of the day ! 👍

Beautiful photo Steve :)
Thanks to all for the well wishes and congrats on winning the jigged bone GL-24. It just so happened that when they first came available I wasn't in a financial position to get one, so this MORE than makes up for my loss. I will take a LOT of photos and post them here. It will certainly be a pillar of my collection. Diego says "Hi!"

Looking forward to seeing your pics Jeff :) In the meantime, it's certainly nice to see Diego :)

I've seen 18-mo calendars before, but not with full pages and pics for all 18 mos.
Nice pic Jer :)
Cool pics of the city centre 😎
Sadly those apartments going up everywhere.
The state government here is pushing to put large apartments complex near train stations.
Regardless of people's concerns about infrastructure the government wants to push a head.
But we all know that's not surprising 😉
You have a great day.
Thanks Mitch, I just had my phone with me :) I'd heard that those tall apartment buildings were going up everywhere :( THanks mate, I hope you had a great one too :)
Macassar Ebony and 14C28N stainless steel. Threaded bolsters, spun pins, scratch engraved, riding on bronze washers. This was one that previously had been in spalted tamarind that I remade from liners to remedy some centering issues.
(I am the maker, with paid membership and knife is no longer in my possession)

Cool pic Barry, I think the Ironwood models were the most attractive of that run :)

Nice pic of your GL-24 Tyson :)
That has taken on some nice character Jack :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone's week is off to a good start :) Here, I can't say the sudden arrival of cold, damp, and gloomy weather has exactly put a spring in my step  Perhaps I'll have to wait for my second cup of Charlie's coffee ;) But before then, I'm afraid I have a bit of work to do, and I need a shave! :D Got my Hartshead Barlow in my pocket :) Have a great day everyone

Hope it's looking as good as your Charlie Lamb Leon :)

Oops- I missed the title. This is last month's pic, from the Isle of Jersey. Something like Port de la Rocque.

Thank you Steve, they were produced in 2019, a good year for Lambs! :D There were 20 in all
That was a most enjoyable video Jack. Thanks for posting. Reminds me of when the postman delivers a new lambsfoot.
Thanks Kurt, I'm sure that has you dancing for joy, but hope the postman is more sober than those folks! :D
Happy Tewsday Guardians !
