Sheffield Wednesday used to really pull out all the stops at half-time, some old fellers would come on, and press down bits of lifted turf, with their feet, while having a chat and a smoke Being a turf-kicker-downer looked like a great occupation, not least since the starting age seemed to be over 65!

I will stay out of what i think of the AFL, would more than likely be banned from the forum for life. . Some content. .

Still no jigged bone GL-24: the hurricane has obviously slowed up the mail service. I had two packages that tracked as expected delivery on Thursday, but still did not arrive today. Hopefully tomorrow!

Good morning guardians, a couple of friends and I camped out at my families hut. Although my father sold the small family farm a couple of years ago he kept 50 acres to run a few cattle and camp at whenever anyone wants to get away. We’ve got a small hut, no electricity so it’s all cooking over coals and lighting by candles. I love it that way.
Took the GL-24 with me.

I'm going to get scrubbed and shaved, and then have a walk down to Charlie's, where I haven't been for a couple of days. Then I'm meeting Wolfie and his brother, and hopefully a couple more mates, for some beer and lunch, in town No surprise on what's in my pocket

Thankfully, we came through Helene undamaged, but many did not. Grace and Peace to those north of us who were effected.
We got through Ian in 2022, and so can you from Helene. Stay positive!
