Sweet !
😍
I always love seeing that knife Steve :)

Thanks buddy, I enjoy showing it !

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a great weekend :) I'm afraid I'm going to have to do some work today, as I promised to take Eve to York tomorrow. Got a new computer monitor to mess around with first though  Hope you all have something more exciting planned! :D ;) Carrying my new beauty again today, and probably tomorrow too :D ;)

I hope you don't have to work too hard Jack. Great shot of your new beauty !

That one looks like it's been re-built to me Jack, using copper, rather than brass, or steel, wire. Nice knife
Jer beat me to it but yes, give away the new one instead 👍

Setting up my new monitor didn't take as long as I'd been led to believe, but I'm left wondering why I bothered, as while it's not a lot bigger than my old one, it's more of a cinema shape, and BF looks a bit weird (compared to what I'm used to). I bought it about a year ago, and then wondered why I had! I've only got round to swapping over now, as I promised my old one to someone else. Unfortunately, I have a habit of giving stuff away, before the replacement proves to be unsatisfactory

Thanks!

Give away the replacement before it proves unsatisfactory!

Nice shot of Rosebeast !

I hope you don't have to work too hard Jack. Great shot of your new beauty !
Thank you Steve, not hard really, just time-consuming. I was hoping to get into town for some shopping today, but there's no chance of that, it's 1.15pm already, and I've barely started
Jer beat me to it but yes, give away the new one instead 👍
I should have refrained from buying a new one  The resolution is certainly a lot better on the new one to be fair

Sadly, I have no bread cakes for a sausage sammich, so having to make do with some hastily scoffed Camembert on sourdough ;)

Got 24 lbs of pork butt on the smoker this morning. Birthday shindig for one of our daughters.

Jaw-dropping jigging, Dwight! 😲 :thumbsup::thumbsup:
You have quite a constitution yourself my friend :)
Thanks, Jack, but it may need some amendments.:thumbsup:;)

Euler's Identity (mentioned in your linked post) is probably the most beautiful equation in all of math.
It's definitely won some beauty contests of that sort!:thumbsup::cool:
Hard to beat an equation relating 0 (additive identity), 1 (multiplicative identity), i (imaginary unit), π (ratio of circle's circumference to its diameter), and e (base for natural logarithms), and using the operations of addition, multiplication, and exponentiation.

Yikes!! We do have the western diamond back rattlesnake around here, but even with all of my tamping around in the wilderness, I have yet to lay eyes on one in the wild. We have black windows, but I've never met anyone bitten by one. The brown recluse is pretty nasty though.... A guy at work got bitten on his hand, took about 6 months to heal.

We have a neighbor a few blocks away with their front porch named, well, The Porch. My wife told me that the only people who hang out on the front porch are a bunch of crotchety old guys who complain about the way kids are wearing their pants these days. Too high, too low, too baggy, too tight.... 🤣🤣 I told her I've been one of those guys for a really long time. 🤣🤣

I think my HHB went and joined a gang😯

Cool Porch photo, and stellar stag HHB, Steve!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Good morning/ evening all.

Kids being kids and doing what kids do, being creative. :):):):):):)

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Never. 🤠
🤓

An expense for sure Gary, but glad your area is contributing to the future of clean water for future generations.
The numbers are staggering in that news story, and that is a small slice of the American landscape.
Thanks, Bob; I totally agree. :) A relatively new development, at least in my neighborhood and those adjacent to it, are "curb cut rain gardens" designed to reduce the amount of rainwater runoff getting into the storm sewers.

GT, as promised, it is an Anastatica - more commonly referred to as Rose of Jericho. I found the Wikipedia article I linked to an interesting read! Thanks for inquiring - I may not have gone digging if left unprompted!
Thanks for the fascinating link about weird flora, Will!:thumbsup::cool:

Water 72° air 64°!!
I prefer jumping in the water to cool off, rather than to warm up! o_O:thumbsup:

Nice pics Gary !
Very nice flock GT! 👍
Nice flock, GT. 😍
Thanks, guys. :)
I have a nice balance right now between the number of lambs I have and the grazing land available to me!🤓

Nice to see those Gary 👍

Enjoying seeing your vintage pics Gary :)

Cracker Jack with his pals :D

I think there's only an 1/8" difference in blade length, but the AC is a noticeably smaller knife, in hand (and pocket), I think. Nice to see that photo again
Great to see that group shot of AC Lambs, Jack, and thanks for your input regarding the relative size of that lambsfoot model!:thumbsup::cool:
