Hope he's feeling better soon mate πŸ™‚ Nice brekky πŸ˜‹πŸ‘
This week my Lambsfoot is Lam Jack, my 2017 horn Guardians lambsfoot (thanks, @mrknife). A couple of photos from our get-acquainted photo session in October 7 years ago. I love the "red eye" near the butt on the pile side.

Always great to see that one Gary πŸ™‚πŸ‘
Give her a birthday hug for me!
Will do pal πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
That thing is just spectacular. The color and texture of the horn goes so well with the triple flutes and the blade pattern.
Thank you Dwight, I'm really pleased with how it turned out πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
Have a great evening all...
That's a stunner! 😎 Cool pic too πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘
Saw this early, inspired me to get my bigun outπŸ˜‰
Nice choice buddy πŸ™‚πŸ‘
Today we celebrated Michaelmass, the Feast of the Archangel Michael. Since we attend St. Michael's Episcopal Church, it was a big day with a catered lunch after the service. Then we had a small gathering for friends at our house for dinner. This is Dawn's first spatchcocked chicken, and it was amazing.

To help me celebrate, this was a double lamb day for me. Please note the Michaelmass daisies next to the knives - good English flowers from our own garden.

Spectacular spread my friend 😊 When I was a kid, our garden wasn't much bigger than the table, but we had Michaelmas daisies πŸ™‚πŸ‘
While we’re on the theme, bonus points for guessing all the calibres.

Wonderful Sheffield Lamb David πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

I hope everyone is having a good day πŸ™‚ It has been raining non-stop here, which has been tiresome. Having enjoyed our previous visit so much, and having recommended the place to so many friends, I was disappointed with our lunch experience. We had starters of olives and smoked almonds, and a bottle of decent Rioja. The olives tasted like they had come straight out of a jar, and were very briny, and not very tasty otherwise (all 5 of them). The almonds were also straight out of a packet. Bread came with some olive oil, but there were 5 small cubes of it. We'd ordered 2 tapas dishes each, my meatballs were almost cold, while the potato and chorizo dish, which I've had before, came with a cloyingly sweet sauce, and was burn-your-mouth-hot, as was Eve's patatas bravas. She also ordered a feta dish, which only arrived when we'd almost finished eating. We ordered a flight of 3 Spanish dessert wines, along with a lemon ice-cream dish for Eve, and Spanish almond cake for me. Our desserts arrived 10 minutes before the wine, as the manager couldn't find 2 of the 3 wines. They eventually came, but he had substituted 2 cheaper wines. We did not enjoy them. Eve's ice-cream wasn't much bigger than a Ritz cracker, and the almond cake tasted stale, and uninteresting. The service was pretty poor too. Not very good for a Β£100 lunch, and I now need to find another York restaurant to take Duncan to, when he visits πŸ™„
