Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks, Barrett, good luck with the Stupit Hot. I tried the BBQ sauce on a hot dog tonight, and it was very flavorful but not killer. I'm not sure I will be able to say that about the other one!

I had some Gates Extra Hot with dinner tonight (smoked a couple pork butts yesterday so we’re eating pulled pork all week). My friend’s dad who grew up in KC introduced me to that sauce back in high school when we used to go on fishing trips, and it’s one of my favorite BBQ sauces. I like that it isn’t too sweet (although sweet BBQ sauces can have their place, too) and has just bit of heat.

The Secret Aardvark may have a little more heat, but shouldn’t be too bad. It’s good on all sorts of things, but one of my favorite uses for it is on leftover cold pepperoni pizza (sounds a little weird but it’s great).

I’m glad the package finally arrived, Jeff, and I’m even more pleased that you like the knife! Enjoy it!

I did think, as I was ordering a couple of my favorite condiments to include in with the package, “Well what happens if the person who wins doesn’t like spicy food at all?” I don’t think either of those are too spicy, but obviously everyone’s tastes vary when it comes to that sort of thing, so I hope you can enjoy them!

Coincidentally, I received a package in the mail today from @Heynowwww containing a couple hot sauces. I had commented on Rick’s GAW entry, which contained some hot sauce’s from Smokin’ Ed Currie — I believe my comment was that they scared me — and Rick was kind enough to send me a couple bottles. I’m not gonna lie, they definitely still scare me, but I’m gonna give ‘em a go, or at least give the slightly less sinister (I think?) Pepper X Table Sauce a go, and if that doesn’t kill me, then we’ll see about the other. Thanks, Rick!

Well, I can't say patience paid off, because I was anything but patient. But finally the Eric Albers Cranberry Relish Jigged Bone GL-24 has arrived!
Barrett was kind enough (or sadistic enough ) to include some hot, hot sauces. Barrett and Eric, thank you so much. Here are the first photos.

This has immediately become a favored knife in my collection. Great W&T and beautifully made, it's a fantastic lambsfoot.

Congratulations Jeff, that's a really special knife I hope you enjoy the condiments my friend, I've not had Gates, (might check out my local chilli shop this week), but Secret Aardvark is an absolute favourite

Tell me about it! I like more premium ammo for my big game rifles, nothing cheap about Norma or Barnes these days.

I initially bought the RWS for a buffalo hunt, ended up taking a muzzleloader and didn’t use them. They work well on deer though.

Hope it's not getting too repetitive Barrett! One of the dishes I had yesterday came with a sweet sauce. I've really enjoyed it before, but this time, it was way too sweet, and they had absolutely drowned the dish in it

I need to head into town today, but I'll definitely be calling in at Charlie's on the way for some coffee!
