Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

May you have a good one too David ;) :)
Thanks buddy ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿค
I hope everyone is having a good day :) I got my work done, and just had time to call in at Charlie's for a coffee, before heading into town. I was going to meet Wolfie in the market, but for some reason, they had allowed some tuneless singer to 'perform' in the middle of the food hall, which pretty much emptied the place! I fled, with Wolfie, to a local falafel place, and while it turned out that they were actually closed, due to some electrical work being done in the kitchen, since I know the owner, he made us a couple of sandwiches anyway. We decided to go for coffee next, but none of our regular haunts were nearby. We ended up in a place called 'The Doghouse', which is exactly what it smelled like! Certainly won't be going there again! Wolfie headed back to work, and I went off to do a little shopping, before coming back home to do a bit more work. I spoke to Tool Man on the phone, and he sounded in good form. I will, of course, be seeing him tomorrow, and he definitely want him to see my new Lamb :)

Good evening to most, just seen some footage of the devastation from Helena, my heart goes out to all those poor people. Very sad.

Thanks David :)
Mixed 3 eggs with some pouring cream and some milk, then stirred through some mixed spices and ground black pepper and some nutritional yeast, then as it started to set layered some Gouda cheese on it so it had time to melt. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹
Mmmm ๐Ÿ˜‹
Gorgeous Knife Jack!
Thanks pal, how're you doing? :)

I'm afraid I have difficulty remembering what I did myself 10 minutes ago Jer, so I'm afraid I can't help ;) :D

I DO remember what I did FIVE minutes ago, because I managed to shoot my thumb nail with the mini slingshot I used as a photo prop earlier! ๐Ÿ˜–
If you haven't seen it already mate, go to page 5172 post number 103,427. It may help with your question. ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜
Thanks a lot Leon (link added below) :)

Very shortly after I made my last post, a piece of perfection arrived at the door, in the form of a long-anticipated package, or rather its contents :) Some time ago, Generous Bob contacted me, and offered to sponsor a Lambsfoot made by our friend Cosimo de Bendetto of Italy, with my choice of design and materials. I was left speechless by the generosity, but in due course, the 3 of us embarked on this project. I took a month or two to think about what I would like to see, and then put forward my proposition to Cosimo, my Dream Lambsfoot. I was very exacting in what I specified, but Cosimo did not flinch for an instant. For example, I wanted the Triple Rattail bolsters to be perfect, and Dwight @Fodderwing very kindly assisted by taking some fantastic photos of 2 of his knives. I was very happy with Cosimo's K720 Bohler carbon steel, but asked if he could also use that for the liners and bolster, as well as the blade. The frame is a little bit larger than Eric Alber's, but smaller than the one I've seen on Cosimo's other Lambsfoot knives. It has a beautiful amount of sway, and fits my hand perfectly. The knife has the perfect amount of weight to it. The Lambsfoot blade is perfection itself, with lovely swedges, and a well-placed, nail-nick. There is a half-stop, and the pull is just right. As you can see from the photos, the covers are ram's horn, something I had always wanted to see on a Lambsfoot, but without their natural character completely polished away. What a knife! :) My deepest thanks to Bob for making this possible, and for encouraging me out of my complacency, and to Cosimo for his wonderful work. I also hope that Cosimo enjoyed the project, because he really did an amazing job, and was very easy to communicate with, despite the language barrier between us. I love the fact he has a Lambsfoot image on his business card

Some hastily-taken photos, and I hope to get better ones soon :)

I had to bring the whole story forward, Jack et al!! What a great " event" that knife story is!! Worth retelling!!! ๐Ÿ˜
