Many thanks David!Enthralling burl
Leon, just as Bob has no sense of "taste", I have no sense of "smell". However just looking at that picture I can remember exactly how the leather would smell.Fodderwing Dwight just gave these an oil and polish, wish i could bottle the smell and send it over to you.

Breathtaking bone on those, Jeremy & Dwight!
Thanks for that info, Jack!I understand that, like antler, both ram's horn, and ewe's horn, is much more stable than cow and buffalo horn![]()
Sounds excellentMixed 3 eggs with some pouring cream and some milk, then stirred through some mixed spices and ground black pepper and some nutritional yeast, then as it started to set layered some Gouda cheese on it so it had time to melt.![]()
The knife on the left is very classy, but I'm drawn to the simpler one on the right!Another day out with Jack's SFO!

Good wood, Steve!
Fascinating "grain" on your GL-24, Patrick! Thanks fellas!
Bonus pic.

3 fine methods, but I usually just nuke em in my old age.
That's a condiment I've never tried (or even heard of before now)!Did a batch of mushroom ketchup, went a bit heavy on the nutmeg but I’m kinda digging it

Such a jewel, Jeff!...
I'm still packing Berry around the house.

That GL-24 gets my vote, Bob!Nope....to tired to catch up.
Hope all are safe and sound.
Very sad about the tragedies coming from the South.

Well said!I’ve been absent recently (busy both at home and work) but just spent some time catching up on the thread. This one’s had a strong presence in my carry rotation lately, such a collision of great influences make it a special knife for me. A maker I appreciate, a pattern I love to carry, interesting cover material, and a group that’s great to be a part of.

Happy to report my mother in laws surgery went well. Hopefully we get the news soon that she is 100% cancer free. Thank you everyone for your prayers and well wishes.
On night shift still and got 8 straight days coming up. Got my “new” TEW in the pocket tonight.

I've been carrying Lam Jack this week, and my last post about him showed an episode of horn swelling the first winter I had the knife.
But the horn also suffered that winter (in March of 2018) because I dropped it about 5 feet onto a brick patio behind our house when I was setting up a "photo shoot".
Here are a couple of close-ups of damage to the bone on pivot end and butt end of the knife:

But only cosmetic damage was done. The knife still functioned superbly.

A building character session, combined with a photo shoot, what a multi-tasker you are Gary! Very nice lamb.I've been carrying Lam Jack this week, and my last post about him showed an episode of horn swelling the first winter I had the knife.

LOL!Went to the billiards (pronounced "Billy-Yards") hall with my GF, her 82 year old dad, The Stagnator, and a dude named George - who we'll simply refer to as "George." Realistically, he doesn't play a significant role in the story - so it may not be worth referring to him at all. The end.

Thanks GaryDynamic Duo, Jack!![]()
Interesting thought GaryCool name, Jack!
I wonder if you could find a knife to match with each zodiac sign as a name? Some would be quite straightforward, but other signs would demand some creativity to match with an appropriate knife.
Cool pic of Brian with your shillelagh Mitch
Looks interesting Jack, by coincidence, there's a slim volume of Romany recipes on my coffee table, with a recipe for mushroom ketchupHere’s the basic recipe and history

Thanks for calling in, nice pic
LOL!Nice pics Will
My dad once announced he was buying us a snooker table from a bloke at work. He came home with a billiard table, the size of a modern TV, a couple of tiny cues, and the 3 balls needed to play English billiards, a game long out of fashion, even then
