Bob, I haven't had ANY candy corn this year; I miss it, even though lots of people seem to detest candy corn. I may have to see if I can get a bag on post-holiday clearance.

Halloween is more low-key here, so there isn't much to look at I bought candy, as per usual, but have only had trick-or-treaters once in my 22 years here in Leeds I had not heard of it, before I moved to West Yorkshire, (from South Yorkshire), but at one time, the big event here, for kids, was Mischief (or Mischievous) Night

I am unsurprised by any of this my friend

I naively thought that a set of rechargeable batteries would last my entire so-called life!
There's far more Halloween decoration here now than I remember from my childhood, or even my daughter's childhood, say, 30 years ago. Many households seem to invest more resources into their Halloween decor than into Christmas displays.

Howdy Guardians. Had a good trip to Colorado. Unfortunately the Lobos lost . Kids had a great time and the weather was perfect.

Took the boss out to breakfast today. Country fried steak and eggs!!!!! Went to the Post Office after and shipped out 7 Cosimo lambs. Can’t wait for them to be delivered. Carrying the burl Big Un today....

I feel VERY self conscious commenting just one knife here and there because to be honest, the majority of the Lambsfoot Knives old and new being displayed and shared by our friends are very nice Knives!

I never use the "like" buttons, because I'd just be using it for almost every post - everyone should assume I like 'em all!
I do often pick out for comment particular posts that caught my eye for some reason, or I'll just pick my favorite on each page for comment.

We have a dog bed similar to that and none of our dogs over the years ever seemed to go for it.

This week has been fairly uneventful. I’ve mostly been home with Scout who’s been a bit under the weather. I was hoping it would be a short-lived kind of thing, but this afternoon she seemed to be doing worse and was having some trouble breathing, so we went ahead and took her to urgent care. She got some x-rays, a nebulizer and a prescription, so hopefully she’ll be feeling better soon.

Thanks guys! She’s definitely feeling better today. She still had to stay home from pre-school, which was a bummer because they were doing Halloween stuff today. She is going to put on her costume for a bit and at least trick-or-treat at a few of our closest neighbors, but she’ll probably sit out on the whole trek around the neighborhood that Eleanor wants to do.

Barrett, I decided during the election season 6 or 8 years ago that I would only vote for candidates who ran no negative ads on TV. But I had to abandon my decision because there was only one candidate on the entire ballot I could vote for under that "rule".

I probably hadn't seen the lambsfoot birthday photo because I disappeared from the Guardians thread for 2 or 3 years.

I hope Scout is feeling much better by now. I was wondering if you had a back-up plan for Halloween activities with a sick kid. Maybe a wagon/hearse and a coffin that Scout could lie in and rest, except to stick a trembling bony hand over the edge of the coffin to receive treats.

Good evening Guardians. And happy Halloween too! Going to a neighbor's home shortly for "Chili night". Lots of different recipes will be on hand. Going to carry my trusty HHB.

Chili Night is something I'd be eager to celebrate weekly, Bill!

Last minute errand to the store for some costume modifications for the kids. It’s pretty cold. I’ll be surprised if those kids last 30 min out here . Got the stagged Charlie lamb today.

Entertained myself watching videos of Flynn on a virtual reality roller coaster through a dinosaur land. He’s laying back in his seat to escape the giant wasp that came at him!
