Good morning Guardians. Taking my wife in for cataract surgery this morning. This will be the second such surgery; the first went very well with great results. Here's hoping the surgeon's knife is as sharp as my HHB! ;)

As I have mentioned to you before (maybe more than a few times) I love the old Aussie market sheffield knives. This lamb/castrator is a particular favourite.
But I am curious, where it quotes a price for engraved names in the catalogue, where exactly would that engraving be? Would it be on the shield, spine, handle?

The shield Jack. The shields aren't hardened. I have hardened blades engraved for customers in the past, pre-lazer technology, but it cost a lot, and the engraver never stopped complaining about the wear to his tools! 🙄👍

Thanks pal, I got it done before midday, and was able to swing by Charlie's, for coffee, and get a Vietnamese lunch 😋👍

When a friend of mine son moved to Kentucky. He was talking to an older gentleman and he asked him what county he was from he told him Cowley County, Kansas. He said the guy sat there quiet in thought for a while then said " hell boy, you ain't nothing but a damned Yankee." 🤣
