Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks buddy 👍🤠

Good golly Jack that sounds like something that would happen in my younger wilder days 😁The world seems to be full of rude people these days. I dislike rude behavior. I could tell a few stories but since it's a family friendly forum I shall refrain 🤠
Mine too David! :D Save the stories for when we have a pint ;) Woody told me the guy has lost 2 jobs because of his big mouth. I'd say he's got off lightly
Yikes, sounds like a bad way to start your day. I hope the rest of your day was less eventful 😉
Thanks Steve, I made it to lunchtime without any nonsense! Tool Man was very amused at least! 🤔 I will, of course, be seeing him tomorrow, as well as Gravel and Boring Ray, and no doubt, a few other reprobates ;) I'm going to carry that Rosecraft Sandalwood model, not least because it hasn't been in my pocket yet, and I don't have a photo of it :D

Guardians,
Recent pick up via large auction site. Does this Lockwood look legit? Stamped Pampa on the blade. Thanks!
It's not a Lambsfoot, so would be grateful if you could remove it from this thread please. If you would like to move it somewhere else, or PM me, I'll be glad to give you an opinion

Afternoon Guardians! Hope y'all are getting on good today. Guess it's hump day for you working folks. I haven't worked in a year so it's just another day to me. Going to physical therapy this afternoon. Not looking forward to it as I don't feel good today. Got some Ebony today. This particular knife has some nice Ebony on it.

Maybe I should growl more, or invest in some facial tattoos or something  I got my work done, and was passing through a quiet part of town, on my way to meet Wolfie for a coffee, when out of nowhere, this enormous guy comes out of nowhere, and bumps right into me, then tells me to watch where I'm going! I hate bad manners, so he gets a short reply, which he doesn't like. He's about 20 years younger than me, but not very respectful, and I don't like what he's saying, so I tell him to take his best shot. He's standing there glaring at me, with steam coming out of his ears, but doesn't want to commit. I walk off to meet Wolfie, but I'm seething. Ten minutes later, I'm sat in a coffee shop with the Lupine one, when I get a call from an old pal, Woody. Woody tells me he's got a workmate in town, and some guy has just picked a fight, and could I go and save him (Woody knows me from when I used to work doors
Or carry a big stick. I think a big stick saved me from trouble once, though since nothing actually happened, I could have imagined it.

This is multipply bizarre. If he's such a fraidy cat, why does he assault people? Then he cries for help after you've left? It sounds like your aspect is still terrible enough, without tattoos or sticks.

[Pointless story of a non-event:
I was in pretty good shape in those days, almost 20 years ago(!), doing my 20-minute whole body Edwardian Indian club exercises every day and walking on the river trail pretty much every day. There was graffiti on the bridge concrete, so I took my walks in daylight hours.
There's a place where you have to cross a bridge if you want to continue, and you have to cross it again to come back.
It was a winter afternoon, and I thought I was alone, so I'd been varying my Chaplin twirls with cuts and stabs at snowflakes, incorporating a little footwork. So I was pretty embarrassed when I turned around and saw that I'd had an audience.
As I approached them, I saw there were quite a few of them, whom I could describe only as yoots. I thought about scrambling up a steep and presumably slippery bank to avoid them, and I thought about keeping my head down and walking by minding my own business, but didn't much like either option. I reminded myself that only three or four can reach you at any one time, and I ground my boots on the planking and looked them over before proceeding past them.
So maybe my stickwork didn't look too ludicrous, or my frayed and faded Carhartt and stout boots made me look like more trouble than profit.
Maybe I scared the poor things and they called the police as soon as they dared. Maybe they never paid me no mind.
Anyway, nothing happened. That's how I like my dramas, imaginary.]

Just back home from a prostate embolization; turns out my prostate was getting too big for MY britches! Cutting off the blood supply is supposed to shrink it back down. We'll see in a month or so. Traded out Roper for Berry.

Jeff my friend, get better soon my friend, I am glad that the treatment for such is very advanced compared to what it used to be.

That's a stunning Lambsfoot by the way!

Too true my friend! :D

Interesting-looking pry-bar with your GL-24 David :)

Nice to see it's still working Jer! :D

Fantastic Jon :)

Better late than never Kevin! :D Hope you're still doing OK buddy :)

How's everyone's day doing? I've had a bit of an odd one. Things happen to me these days, which never used to happen a decade ago. Woody tells me he's got a workmate in town, and some guy has just picked a fight, and could I go and save him (Woody knows me from when I used to work doors). This is too much of a coincidence, so I ask Woody if his mate is a big fat £$%& with a jet-black beard, and a big mouth. Woody replies, "Why, what's he done now?" So, coincidence allowed me to pass on a suitable message, which I know will be delivered in spades, and hopefully I won't see the scumbag again. I'm still seething though 🤨
Jack I too would be seething over that, that guy is going to do that to the wrong person and regret it probably for a long long time.

I think he escaped from a bit of a situation with you to be Honest.

I just want the Guardians to know that Jack has a dark side, for instance we were having a Pint at a pub - came time to pay - I found Jack just staring at me, his eyes had lost their colour and were jet black, his top lip curling up at the corner - "Well - you payin'?" he snarled, "Yeah Jack, Yeah no problem I'll do that right now" I paid and we went on our way and the blackness went out of his eyes!

🤣
Just kidding, you have to watch Jack as he is so generous he will pay for everything if your not careful 😍

I too Jack feel your anger over those pieces of trash, and I am glad nothing happened.

Sorry you're still having a tough time David :( I do hope the physical therapy wasn't too awful  Nice-looking knife

I certainly don't underestimate the benefits of a big stick Jer :)

Sounds like a strange character, with a history of his mouth, and his lack of manners, getting him into trouble  I don't know what's up with people Jer :( Someone once told me that the most polite behaviour they'd ever seen was among prisoners in a maximum security prison! :D

Those kids are probably still talking about you Jer :) And/or having nightmares! :D
May you be back dancing soon Jeff.👍🏻

David, I do hope you find relief and can find normalcy for your life.🙏

Jack I too would be seething over that, that guy is going to do that to the wrong person and regret it probably for a long long time.
I think that's inevitable if he doesn't wise up. I've told Woody to let me know what he has to say for himself ;)

LOL! :D Thanks mate 🤣👍
Out with my wife, she wanted to shop at her favorite thrift store after her cataract surgery post op appointment today. My companion for the adventure.

That's some nice ebony my friend, I hope that everything is good with your wife now, and that she's fully recovered :) When I was a young boy, thrift shops were common here, and commonly discussed, but the term has almost slipped out of use now, it seems, sadly :( Perhaps they were the victims of the Pound shops, which were everywhere here 20 years ago, but have become victims of rampant inflation over the past few years. Perhaps we'll see the rise of the thrift store once again :)
