Thank you Dale, Jack, Duncan and Bob. As it turns out, the pain in recovery is considerable, somewhat like sitting on a hot poker. Oxycodone barely makes a dent in it. But tonight is a little better than last night, so I can see an end in sight.

Good morning Guardians. Chilly out and raining a little. So, it's an indoor kind of day today. Started out sharpening the kitchen knives and working my way through my LF knives. My Albers Blue Roper is still razor sharp so no need to touch that one up.

Good afternoon Guardians, I hope everyone is doing ell, and having a good day. I am back from the market, but I have some work to do later, including an online conference. It was good to see Tool Man, who was in good form, and we had the usual visitors, including Gravel, Boring Ray, Harry Hotballs, Barry The Original Ted, Captain Birdseye, Shirley, Slimline Scott, Owd Brian, Big J, Ex-Para Steve, Nobber Al, and Billy The Ted. Gravel got the sausage rolls, while I got coffee and doughnuts, and Tool Man even put his hand in his pocket for some cake. I wandered over to Maurizio's stall, where he was arranging model soldiers, one of which had a broken bow unfortunately.





Boring Ray had acquired some new junk for his stall, and is shown at work here, trying to sell what he claimed was an improbably undersized vintage fireman's helmet, from some central European country

Owd Brian doing a very poor impression of Paddington Bear



This Rosecraft Double-Bolstered Lambsfoot had its maiden voyage to the market, and returned unharmed

I enjoyed the Market Report and the pics Jack. I’m kinda curious how Harry Hotballs got his nickname. But maybe not. Tool Man looks in fine form there…not eating anything. Probably a hard picture to get. I hope you like your Rosecraft. I don’t mind D2 at all.

Here’s a picture showing off these fine covers. Cosimo’s brilliantly dyed and jigged bone and Willem’s smooth and buttery rams horn.

I have avoided becoming the lion’s Kurt Butty. The lion might have made a sandwich out of one of the turkeys though. Almost Thanksgiving.

Looks like a good turn out of the motley crew at the market today.
