Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks Steve, great bonus pic today! 👍

Thanks Pat

Afternoon all
I'm glad I put the ice maker on during the week,
Buddy approves. It's in the laundry every time I get some ice. I throw a few pieces in his water bowl.

Nice pic of Violet 👍

Sun was out strong so I thought I would let the Sun get into the translucency of the Horn on this awesome Lambsfoot 😍View attachment 2735223

Great pic Duncan !

Another great pic Steve

Thanks Jack !

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend :) I have an online meeting today, at some point, but otherwise, apart from some housework, and maybe doing some shopping, and writing some cards, I'm free to lollygag! :D Enjoy your Sunday Guardians

Nice oldie !

THanks David, your CJ Barlow is looking swell :)

Another great pic Steve

Things must have changed a lot with the AC Mitch  Violet looks comfy there :) Good hat  It reminds me of my dad's old work-mate Arthur Smith, who'd come fishing with us. For fishing, Arthur always wore a hat he referred to as his 'Burmese Terrorist Hat'. One year, he decided himself to a tweed Deerstalker, for his birthday. Sure enough, Arthur turned up his new hat, but as soon as he got to his fishing spot, the Deerstalker came off, and his 'lucky' old hat went back on! :D

Such a beauty  I enjoyed listening to Eric on the Catch-Bit Show. He is always so modest and self-effacing, I mistakenly took him for a quiet feller! :D

Nice :)

Your 2017 Guardians Lamb is ageing nicely Duncan :)

Sounds like a great trip Jack :) Great to see so many of those awesome knives in the KOTY thread

Sunday lollygagging is the best lollygagging.

I hope you are able to tell us, you were able to find it Duncan.🤞🏻
My friend, no.... I do remember having it in a workshop, and one guy saw it and said- Oh man look at that old school Knife!
Whats scary is I searched all my pants pockets - all jacket pockets, Washing Machine seal groove - still nothing!
I will let the Guardians know when I do, right now I am about to hit the road, so I will be in touch!

Duncan I hope your knife turns up. Of course we all have probably been through the frustrating searching. I have only lost one knife but I have spent too much time I’ll never get back looking for them. They’re almost like TV remotes. Man I don’t even find change under cushions.

Yesterday we had a tornado here. Very near me in Scotts Valley. Sadly hurt some folks, damaged property including flipping over a number of cars. Tornadoes are rare here in California and this is a first for Scott’s Valley and Santa Cruz afaik.

And I am enjoying my convalescence. But I am watching more TV and I gotta say that new Dune series is a big disappointment and I enjoyed ALL of the books. I am not a car guy and can’t even change my oil. But I’m liking Roadkill, Roadkill Garage and Engine Masters.

Enjoy this fine for lollygagging Sunday.

Good morning Guardians, I was hoping carrying my AC would bring luck to Duncan finding his 🙏👍

Beautiful AC Steve, and thank you ☺️
I just stopped after traveling for a couple of hours, there’s a small wee town called Woodville - I usually stop for 10 minutes or so there, I took the time with great hopes to find AC in a Jacket I had left in the car………. So that was a dissapointment.

Checked in the seats, I remember doing a car inspection the other day with some OEM delaminating Paintwork, I did use a Lambsfoot to lift an edge - and that was a week or so ago - pretty sure it was AC, it’s a precious knife to me with huge sentimental value as well it’s a darned nice Stag Lambsfoot.

The search will continue 😊😊👍

Thanks Jack
1 of my old walking hats has been handy easy to stick in a pocket or bag.
Deerstalker 🤔 hmmm, no no i don't need 1.
enjoy your rest time
Thanks mate, it's turned into work so far 😖 Having to make do with cheese and crackers for lunch 😭;)👍
No tomatoes 😫

Yeah I'm not to bad in the heat, I try to get my jobs done in the morning. We can get 40c days(about105) on a regular basis.
As kid not so bad I spent a lot of time in the water pool and beach, I was blonde kid and my hair was regularly green from chlorine in summer., We had no AC, used to have evaporation coolers that you'd move around. School was hot no AC until later in high school.
I probably use the AC more these days for The wife and kids, the wife and eldest are fair red heads don't tan just burn, the youngest fairs better. Kristy appreciates it more as the Cafe kitchen gets in the high 40s, still grumbles at me because she is let's say thrifty.
The old man used to run a foundry floor till he retired, normally start about 6 or 7, in summer they would work from
2 or 3am to beat the heat

Fingers crossed Duncan.

Violet
Violet is weathering well in the heat.
Glad you don't have to work in it now Mitch. Hope your garden survives.

Thanks Bob.
It's funny you know we have no grass to Mow. I miss it sometimes had a large yard and took over a couple of hours to do but a job well done 😀 crazy I know crazy 🤪
The garden will survive, I put in heat tolerant plants, the chilli plants love it. I like to use a watering can for watering.
I have lost a few out the back, not from the heat but excessive fluid. Buddy likes to cock his leg on them😈😈
