Seriously, I know that feeling when everything's going right, and you hear something crack. (or in my case, see the ink bleed under the surface of scrimmed bone) It's a bummer, but I truly think as long as you can glue it to be stable, it'll look lovely anyway.

We had a small early Christmas get together over at my brothers yesterday with my late sisters daughter who was visiting from Brooklyn for the weekend.

I got a really thoughtful gift from one of my other nieces partner. She painted a portrait of Cassie and it's spot on.

A little upset but it’s the first time working with bone. I glued it back on and I’ll carry it for a while and see if it holds. While I was waiting on it to set I worked on this one.
