I wanted to share a very special Christmas present. It's a stag handled piece made by our very own KnifeHead .

A while back I asked Kerry to make a proper lambsfoot. I sent him an old Sheffield knife to study. Study it he did as this was the result.

The wife and I decided to make candied nuts yesterday. It’s on got seven ingredients. Salt, sugar, egg whites, butter, pecans, walnuts and almonds. It’s a great group of people here and my favourite place to hang out on the porch

100F today and a bit hotter tomorrow. Perfect weather for beer, prawns, lobster, abalone and some cold cuts.

After a short nap, I had a walk down to Matt's, gave the kids their presents, and then the two of us went for a pint, and I got my Christmas curry (a chicken Balti)! I sure hope it tastes good, because it cost me twice as much as a regular curry, and the portion is very small Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas



I passed the barman a couple of notes, and he was politely suspicious of this one, which is hot off the press. I guess if you more or less own the Royal Mint, you can get them to depict them however you like, no matter how much it differs from reality I told Matt about what happened at the bar, saying, "I got one of the new notes with Charlie on it!" He asked me if it had blood on it!

Sure was Leon, my first full-time job payed less than £20 a week, and my first part-time job, delivering newspapers 6 nights a week, (over 100 papers at a time), earned me 50 pence Thanks mate :0

Had a great day today at my wife’s family’s place. Lots of good food, few beers and a big water fight with the kids. The latter was nice since it got to 99F.
We do Kris Kringle each year, my father in law had me this year and built me a Kenyan top bar beehive. I’ve been talking about doing bees for a few years, and he decided to shove me into it. A little late in the season for getting a swarm, may have to wait until next spring.

I hope you all had or are about to have a great Christmas with friends and family.
